When i started they borrowed me a flute and all my friends were improving a lot but i coudn't play the low notes and i was so upset for like 2 weeks but one time i played the flute of a friend and the low note was extremly easy so i told the teacher, he gave me another and now is much more easy XD
Hi there. Could you please advise on the specific screws I should adjust to fix the issue where my high E flat sounds flat with standard fingering but is in tune with the shortened fingering? I frequently alternate between the two fingerings in chromatic passages to balance the intonation with surrounding notes. I appreciate your help. 🙏
Thanks for your video. To take my flute in for a service I have to drive 3 hours so I like to make sure there is in fact a problem. I am having a problem with my "D" note after I have been playing a long time, it will not work.I will blot the pad on the foot (pinky key) and it helps a bit, but the response is still not good. The note, when it decides to come out is very airy and wooden sounding. I literally have to grab another flute if I want to carry on. Is this even normal? If I pick the flute up the next day it has dried out and will sound fine so the repair guy might think I'm crazy.
Hmmm…sounds like the pad gets moisture and then deforms. I don’t think he will think you are crazy. One look at the pads and he will immediately tell you which pads need replacement!
Hi, I'm just wondering how often you should get a flute serviced just for a regular "checkup" and about how much that is? Thank u (Ps. Love your videos, they have helped us so much)
every year would be great, but 3-4 years is good(just reading off regular professional cleanings and making sure it's okay) depends on the music store, so i cant answer that.
I have not played my suit in a long time and now is only played it for 4 days and the wire where the keys are broken and and the bar for the keys has snapped I don't know what I'm going to do now
The string of my flute broke suddenly when i was practising a piece ig because i haven't touched it for a while or it can be caused by other factors as well.
My school flute u was playing a song then my teacher told me to play a song it won't make a sound in some notes but why please get back to me today because I need to play it Tomorrow

Hi Tatiana, how often do you maintain your flute!? Best for you, from Caracas-Venezuela, country that fights for a change of government!!
Thank you!
I have a question for you Tatiana: how do I play high notes on the flute quietly?
I've been trying to figure that out for ages 😊🙄
not sure if you can.. xD
if you can, it seems very hard

Greetings from Mexico, you're the best!
thank you!
I had six pads replaced, but I’ve noticed that the more I play the better my tone gets. Does it take the pads a while to settle?
yep!

It does happen! Flutes are a lot like cars and just need some work every now and then
@@TheFlutePractice I just took it to the technician yesterday and he said the screw had been loosen, which made the spring snap
