Hey Paul! You should get a tri color butterfly telescope for Taylor. They get along good with orandas and they are gorgeous. You could also get some fresh water snails!
You could do some dojo loaches. They do great with goldfish, are a great bottom feeder for food that is left over, and they are one of the most social fish I've ever met.
if you want some larger fish, you could go for a bristlenose pleco, but if you want smaller and faster fish, you could go for white cloud minnows or paleatus corydoras, they are all very common and cool water tolerant like the gold fish.

If you want to get a school of super small fish I would suggest neon tetras or black neon tetras! They’re stunning and I’ve had them for a while, they get along with ALL fish and are super calm and easy to keep. They get up to one inch max and are just stunning for a tank like yours!
You should get a golden dojo loach, also you should set a tank up for mexican cave tetras. Make it cave theme and keep it without a light so it doesn't stress them, I have a male and female and the only light they get is a little bit of sunlight
An idea to go with the goldfish would be a Hillstream Loach, it looks like a miniature stingray and acts like a pleco. It eats algae, and scavenges for food scraps.
For a really cool experience, go to the Blue Grotto on the isle of Capri, Italy. The water is phosphorence and everything glows in the water. Fish, your hand, the boat sides, all.
Saltwater pond in the back with sting rays and a large coral structure for the other smaller fish and put something to have some shade so the fish can hide from birds

Just to let you know, you probably won't get any algae on the substrate in that tank. Because the goldfish will move all the substrate around so algae won't build-up on it. In your big pond it kind of just sits there with the sand so algae builds up on the sand.
That's true he should invest in a giraffe catfish or something that gets decent in size to be a sand shifter for him in his pond if he decides to change it to sand entirely.

Have you ever seen a sand fountain in a tank? They are so cool. I think it would be awesome to do a tank with one. As far as fish go I’d definitely get one of those bubble blob eyed goldfish (I don’t know the name so this is what I came up with lol) and for sure a hill stream loach
So Paul it might be a good idea to put a layer of sand over the gravel because the goldfish will actually eat it and could possibly die. I can say this because it happened to me before. Also great vid👍
