    @videomaker my comment was a bit harsh I could have made the same pint without saying it the way I did. I applaud anyone making videos and focusing on the techniques that separate good quality video and average video. The amount of attention to the smaller details that make a huge impact, make all the difference in the world when it comes to visual mediums. Keep it up.

    I thank you too Videomaker Team! My Chief Lighting Tech is unavailable for the shoot today and I have to light my own damn shoot, so I needed help and a quick understanding of the basic lighting essentials. I will do more lighting tutorials going forward but at least I can have a decent shoot today (if I don't screw it up, of course!).

    Thank you. This was a detailed video and I learned more from this despite watching so many videos on lighting. +Videomaker I am filming in a similar set up for my show as the girl in this video. What kind of lights were you using? Was it fluorescent and how many watts was your total 3 Point lighting kit? 2700K ? I need to find a 3 point lighting system that will project light to fully light up my green screen because I only have Sony Vegas Pro for a bit and need the production to be smooth to avoid problems in post-production. Thank you soooooo much!!!

    Hallo,
    I haven't much experience in lightning, but in this case the third light is the kicklight, or? Backlight is straight behind the subject, or? Another thing which is important is the eyelight. Make shure that your Eyes aren't looking boring. For example use a ringlight.
    If I said something wrong, please correct me.

    Very Informative. Might I suggest starting to rehash these videos with some better quality recordings. A lot of the detail was Blurry and a bit washed out on my screen. I'm sure that that is due to the 144P setting. Other than that a great video.

    How do you control the intensity of the differents lights

  • @anybizfinder
    @anybizfinder 15 років тому

    @elcelatruena Yeah, if not lighting then something to control the light whether its reflectors or diffusion, something to control the light as much as possible and make your subjects look great and help separate them from the background. But yes lights are often used in daylight as well.

    Movies are a whole different ball game, its depends on what you're trying to accomplish, are you lighting a scene to set a mood and mimic being in a restaurant during the daytime while shooting in a studio? Ask yourself what you're trying to acocmplish first. But for TV, Interviews, yes 3 point is the bread and butter set up that you should learn and learn very well. Yes I've used only two lights before in cramped or various other situations (windows, light breaks). Each situation is different
