FMI Rear 5 link Cantilever Suspension Side view action

The cantilever suspension design utilizes the stock gen 2 stock rear shock along with the addition of a 12" coil over shock that both mount to the cantilever. The cantilever arm is then connected to the rear axle with a strut that has a rod end on both ends of the strut so it can move freely. The rear axle is attached to the Raptor frame by a 5-link setup which consists of 2 lower trailing arms, 2 upper arms that are straight mounted to the frame in line with the lower trailing arms. Then its all kept in line with the rear panhard bar which keeps the axle centered in the truck as it travels up and down. This kit provides 19 inches of full travel in the rear and has fully adjustable ride height from the coil over shock. you can easily change spring rates to make the truck handle differently to match any driving style. You can use the stock raptor rear shock with or without the live valve system and if that's not enough you can also use any aftermarket stock replacement shock in its place. Fox, king, icon so long as they keep the factory travel and extended and compressed lengths will work with this kit. But if you want to go even further you can get the kit with a 3" external race style bypass shock (just requires a different rear shock mount assembly) and you can have the ultimate adjustability with the external by-pass tubes. its a 5-link conversion kit so you get the benefits of the Gen 3 raptor style rear suspension and can put it on a Gen 2 or Gen 1 Raptor and by adding the cantilever system we can get 19" of wheel travel in the rear of the truck and the shocks all stay under the floor of the bed

Great question and its our Bump Stop kit that is stopping it from bottoming out. It's designed to work with the new 5 link rear suspension kit found on the Gen 3 Raptor and really is the perfect addition to enhancing the rear suspension on a Raptor for anyone going off road.
