This build is looking mint Tom, big credit to you! The entire beast has quality all over it - no wonder you're dreaming of doing this kind of work full time, you are so good at not only explaining, but also putting it all together. You're just gonna need more space & some customers - these things take time, but you can see the quality in your work 😉 🔥💪✌️
Maybe as a side project show us how you would go about building a flex ramp, i could definitely use some welding tips....that paint job is definitely 👌 whole build is looking awesome.
do you have to run extended shock towers in the front to fit 4 inch shocks? just asking as ive got a new set of dobinsons 4 inch shocks waiting to go in my gq
I sorta depends where you have to bump it to stop the wheel hitting the inside of the guard, put the shock in and see if you can fully flex it, if the shock hits before the bump stop or wheel hitting guard then you need to address it!!
If 285/75r16 scrubs at full articulation on 2 inch lift, I would say 315/75r16 would destroy the entire guard around all 4 wheels. So I mean you could probably get it engineered but it would be a lot of scrub and then a lot of work to make it not scrub
@@Generic4wdGroup I don’t know who you’ve been talking to but ‘full articulation’ doesn’t realistically change THAT much whether you’re on 2” or 4” (how much it actually tucks up relative to the guard not where it starts it’s articulation)… what you’re talking about is a poorly setup bump stop & offset. If you were on Patrol Hub in between 2019 and 2021 you’d see the question asked a MILLION times and know that the solution is to set up your suspension properly. It just means you get less up travel on a 2” vs a 4” because you’re running bump stops that are usually needed on a 4” lift but on a 2” lift.
You did it arse about. Jack up the car under the diff, Chassis stands under the chassis then let the diff down to fit coils etc. Also way easier to do radius arms etc. done 7 inch coils that way
I feel like Kinchrome need to Sponsor some tools. If anyone deserves it, its this bloke.
Thanks heaps legend!! 🫶🫶
A new Roam Lyfe GQ vid makes me happy
Thanks Sammy!! 🫶👌

Thanks a lot Paul! Appreciate it mate 🙌🙌
What a rig 💪 coming along nicely dude 👌🏻
Top notch as always 🙏
been waiting for this for so long seen a little bit on ig i absolutely love the crome grill 💯
Thanks bro! The grille tops it off hey! 👌
@@RoamLyfe yeh man need one for mine
Good work man! May I ask why you didn't go for the flexy springs?
This thing Looks instant Man, Keep It up🤙🏼
Thanks bro 🫶🙏
Looks sic bro! Top bloody work mate 🤘
Cheers mick! 👌
Thread a strap through the rim and lift it with the engine crane, works surprisingly well
Looking proper mint 👌 keep em coming 🤙
Cheers bogan lad 👌👌
Ron Burgundy looking the goods now 😍
He’s come up alright hey!
Sick build man always love them🤙
Thanks Jack!
looks epic mate
Thanks bro!
What have you painted the chassis and diffs with, and what sort of prep. Looks tidy.
Bro, 3$ can of black hahahaha! Will be going some decent paint when she’s on the road!
I love that you have gone a 2 inch lift but how did u workout what shocks to put
I done this through superior engineering, they knew which ones!
Wicked build
Thanks Marty!!
Looks mint asf
Thanks bro 👌🙌
Looks good bro
Thanks Kenan! 👌

Next episode has got first welding job written all over it
What weight load springs man?
so my guy...is this no longer a budget GQ build anymore? hahaha
Yeah look, she’s gotten a little side tracked! The next one will be budget 😂😂😂
The wagon car you do can you chop it in to a space cab
If I smash the back half in I will for sure!
What lift kit was this under superior or did you build the kit yourself
It’s their hyperflex kit with a 5 link added in! They can chop and change any parts out of the kits!
do you have to run extended shock towers in the front to fit 4 inch shocks? just asking as ive got a new set of dobinsons 4 inch shocks waiting to go in my gq
What size tyre are you running mate?
@@RoamLyfe ive got 33s

Loving this build 🤙🤙 paint code reveal tho 😂😂😂
😂😂 maybe one day!
One thing I’m curious about is if they can get 35’s engineered with a 4” lift, can we get 35’s engineered with a 2” lift
If 285/75r16 scrubs at full articulation on 2 inch lift, I would say 315/75r16 would destroy the entire guard around all 4 wheels.
So I mean you could probably get it engineered but it would be a lot of scrub and then a lot of work to make it not scrub
@@Generic4wdGroupreally? My 105 doesnt scrub on a 2 inch lift and 285/75s? I woukd have thought gq's can take bigger tires?

@@Generic4wdGroupPlaying with offset on rims will completely stop scrubbing
They only allow 4" 35s you can't have 2 or 3" 35s engineered
now that's hectic
Thanks bro!
F$@ken hell this thing is going to be off tap when it’s finished.
Looks insane atm 👍🏽
Yeww! Cheers Jesse! So keen to get it out of the shed hey!
How much is the suspension all up?
About 13k I believe
What’s the red toolbox brand cheers
It’s a maxim toolbox!

done 7 inch coils that way
Bro my jack stands don’t go that high haha! Would be a good way to do it tho 👌
Price for everything?
Bout 13k with the sway bars
looks mint mate , PS fork lift lol, just make a flex ramp
Forklift is good when there’s no motor!! Haha would love a flex ramp too 👌
@@RoamLyfe a flex ramp you can pack up and take with you would be mint, but yeah i guess a dirty old TD fork lift would be good too
Damn, Diesel! Do you ever stop talking?
When are Superior going to engineer 80 Series with 3" lift & 35" tyres?
Hahaha me or diesel? I do talk a lot 😂😅
gu diffs ?? or not really a car you wanna take offroad
It’s got gq diffs currently only cause I can’t afford to upgrade to Gu just yet! I’ll ride these out till I get annoyed with them!
@@RoamLyfe sweet as good upgrade
Looks like you have a dent in the door bud 😢
It’s just a panel that keeps bending back if that makes sense, can push it out and in! Gotta fix it soon 🤘
