I dropped my tuning and gave my roommate who has never played a guitar a quick 5 minutes lesson on time signature and he picked up how to play along with this track in no time. Good job dude, it's hard to find something so easy, and also so dope to play along with 10 out of 5 stars.
When you do an initial search for guitar backingtracks, no metal pops up! I'm glad I stumbled upon this one since it's so different from the others! Great job
Andrew Koraleski hey Andrew :) Tha ks for your comment. I think I will defiantly make a few more in this style. Seems to be the favourite one so far. Cheers for ya comment. Hope you had a good jam
I can play this so easily and my eleven year old brother who is starting on drums is learning this so quickly that we will soon get to jam together! Thank you so much! Such an amazing sound!
Unfortunatly My computer is broken now, But since this track is the only one that really took off I will spend more time on these seattle rock sounding tracks, make beter quality ones, this was just an idea i had for a song i couldnt think of where to go :) just a muck around, appreciate your comment ;)
pretty flame. I play in major over this, well mixolydian /i think, basically major with a flatted 7. I dont think i heard any minor thirds in the backing track so I suppose it can be done with both. wish it was a loop tho that lasted like 20 mins i'd never leave my room
Yeah man I was playing phrygian and phrygian dominant and both sounded dope. I especially liked phrygian dominant which has a few tones similar to mixolydian
@@danaeverhart6487 Hey dude, I made this in about 30 mins, minimal effort. I wasn't expecting any real results from it. And I prefer making things that everyone can play along too easily. Maybe I will make more technical stuff one day, Cheers
@@MrGuitarAddicted Yes Ry ! It appears that it only took a few. I’ll make you a deal, you make a quality jam track and I definitely will do one solid improvisation over it! Deal?
I was also going to ask if you would let me use this track in a nonprofit show I'm doing for my local Pride festival. I'll give you a shout out as the creator and publisher of this track. Might get a few more subscribers.
Hey matey thanks for your comments. To answer you yes I do not mind you using for non profit entertainment use only. Hope you get a video out of it. Thanks again good luck and link me if you get it recorded. Ry
hahahaha! appreciate that :) thanks Matthew, that was the first ever thing it got lol, was a dislike, Shame my Pc is down I want to make better tracks like this, only spent maybe 45 mins on this but people like this best of what I've made :) take care buddy!
Bros. (That is actually my bro^) there is so much talent here between the two of you. I won’t say so about myself. I’m alright. But this sound is freaking fantastic. I’ve been listening to it in the truck on the way to work and stuff, thinking about all the possibilities behind a slow Grungy riff like this. Fantastic. It’s like Tool and Samsara blues experiment had a baby named Black pyramid who had a kid with meshugga while on mushrooms. Do not stop making music. Whatever you do.
Doesn't matter what tuning you're in aslong as you're playing in the key of D minor but this kind of music does sound good in D or C# standard tunings rather than E standard but like I said it doesn't matter what tuning you're in so long as you playing in D minor.
@@MajorKassad Oh, well you're gonna have to look that up yourself mate, its a lot to cover in a youtube comment. Just look up the natural minor scale and start there.
hey man, I might have had the bass in drop d if you got a 4 string, was just pedaling the open and 2nd fret would work. But straight up honestly I made it in thirty mins, was an idea that went no where for me and I made this jam track, seems to have become the lost popular thing on my channel ironically, and yes carry on learning bro, you'll get it, don't let a comment ruin your day, we all say dumb things on social media sometimes this guy probs was having a bad day... @@krisguitar366 great comment. never even cursed, rare! just let it roll off. hope you kept going. btw a trick i use now is letting my tuner listen and it will let you know notes anyway.
@@krisguitar366 Figuring out riffs by ear is what will make you a great player. Sit with your instrument. Find the first note. Then find the note that it resolves or ends on. Find the notes. If you have to hum it out loud with the music off do that. But the key is to spend the time. When you spend the time you get better. Tabs are cool. But on simple stuff like this it's skipping steps. Very alice in chains like.
Are your backing tracks free for others to use in their videos or do they have to get permission from you first?
I’m late but this is awesome would really like to know the tabs for this rift
I'd like to as well
Have you figured it out yet? The tabs? I kinda did it by listening to it many times and trying to play it
Chilling on Sunday in bed
