Thank you for all of your amazing videos. You are so easy to understand and are very detailed. I’m ready to take the leap to turn my informal volunteer efforts that I’ve been doing for years into a non profit. Is there any benefit or reason to wait until the beginning of next year to apply or is it okay to do now in October? Thank you!
I'm so glad the videos are helping! As for filing now vs. later - the registration will cost some money, so it depends if you are ready for that. The only other advantage is that fundraising is even more competitive right now as existing nonprofits work to survive the pandemic's economic impacts, so money may be a little harder to raise for awhile. It's up to you!
We've had great success with Facebook birthday fundraisers while people can't go to parties or a bar to celebrate. Encourage your supporters to use this as a way of celebrating their special day whilst supporting a cause close to their hearts. It's a great way to re-engage with past donors too. It can also grow your social media reach into cold groups. We have averaged £9.5K a month since April 2020 from this income stream alone.
@@AmberMelanieSmith Really enjoy you and thank you for all the great content. You have a pretty good singing voice too. I'm starting a nonprofit called Free gift Ministry Our mission is to give away a million Bible's.
Heyy Amber!..this is Anthony from India..could you help me to get a self fundraising individual through online sites, which is available globaly and trustble
Keep in mind - this is an experiment! I registered with the National Wildlife Habitat a two-city community wildlife habitat, and am now trying to transform it into an Internal Revenue Code (IRC) 501c3 non-profit called Colinas.Costeras.org. Since City of Pacifica is 100x more environmental than San Bruno, idea is to start COMMUNITY DAYS. Instead of a carnival at city park with loud music and trash food, COMMUNITY DAY(s) is to clean up your own subdivision. After clean-up, have a picnic, but no "disposable" plastic. Emphasize REUSABLES: Sell Tongs.ch "Tableware For Everywhere" - a $10 reusable utensil set as its income generating social enterprise. Use COMMUNITY DAY = EDUCATION DAY to clean-up, restore habitat, and learn about native plants and animals in our own community. I want to make it like a Marathon event - where entry fee pays for the award. Question is how residents will feel if I charge them $10 to register for clean-up event, and give them a tableware set? PS: I secured from a composer, the legal rights to use his music for free as long as I give him credit. So, instead of a carnival atmosphere, it will be worship atmosphere - to worship Native Americans and Mother Earth. Our VISION is to revere the Coastal Hills as SACRED SPACE so that they can nurture life! Has your organization tried a "socially distanced fundraising idea"? Let's hear about it! Share your idea!

Drive-in, drive-thru is not environmental - want to reduce petroleum use.
That's a good thought! What are some socially distanced ideas that accomplish that?
