Hey Anakin young sensei I met u back at East Coast Throwdown back in 17 so it's been a minute lol u might not remember me but you're the reason y I play tekken. We haven't had much to talk on I do have u added on Facebook and noticed u play on pc rather console. I'm truly grateful for what u told me because I'm an OG in fighting games meaning I've played the game as long as u have and im glad u are doing this for new comers even experienced players like myself. I've been doing the same but with ps4 I just hop on and teach anyone I come across just so that people are aware of certain characters and setups. I'm really blessed for what u did and told me and i hope u teach new comers and everyone that is willing to learn because tekken is a fun game and I'm so glad even though it was my first time meeting u and my first time participating in a tourney I've learned a lot. Keep making videos man because I too want to help anyone that's willing to learn. At the end of the day it all comes down to effort so I'm glad overall and thanks once again for your kind words to me i really appreciate it. Its inspired me to actually continue to play and hope to one day be as good as u or even to join a team in the near future when the opportunity arises.
@@TkAnakin bro you don't even understand how bad I want to play again lol in the mean time I've been playing online and what not I've met a lot of high ranked people and some pros from other states on psn. Fun fact I was under your bracket if I had won my second match I'd have to fight u on live stream and TBH I would have choked but it's that rush that keeps me going. You and the others like Majin are MVP's I hope we do cross paths I'll be learning each day. My name from that tourney was Unknown_Reaper3 that's also my psn name if u ever do play console I just hope that if namco does have a net code that they can fix it I know it's tight with what's been going on so I'm hoping everyone is staying safe but it's a little bit bad.
I like your style of teaching. Been playing for a couple of years now but you can never stop going over the fundamentals. Your movement video was really helpful for me to close distance safely. You and Lil Majin are my favorites to model myself after.
Didn't watch any of your stuff before and I didn't know anyhting about you apart from being a kick ass tekken pro, but man was I blown away by how much you give back to the tekken community. To top it off you are passing on your experience and knowledge on for free for us to watch and learn. Most people would not give away their secrets or be like "yo lemme coach you for money " and only help if it is profitable for them. Big ups to you and keep all the good shit going. The dope noob tourney live commentaries, the tips tricks and guides. Appreciate the fire content man.
Anakin has the best matchup knowledge!! I like how you edited the video and removed all the excess fat like setting up the moves to record, simple select screen, etc.
I love how informative you have been to new players lately, Anakin. I'm sure all these videos will be much appreciated coming from a top tier competitor as yourself!
Hey Anakin, thanks for making these videos man I appreciate it, I started getting into Tekken 7 last year after going to EVO for the first time and knew about you but never your youtube channel, you are really fucking nice man idk if people tell you that enough or not but I also just wanted to apologize because my first impression of you was thinking that you look like a mean person haha idk why but naturally you just look pissed af maybe it's just me, but turns out you are one of the nicest dudes ever, not many people that are pros go out of their way and make tutorial videos and host online tourneys for all the new guys, and consistently too...your interaction with your viewers is sincere and appreciated my dude and you are not going unnoticed
I look angry because I try to be as focused as possible when in the big tourney matches. I get that a lot though and that's okay. No need to apologize. Thanks for the comment!
one method that worked for me on learning to kbdc was to slow the inputs down and always remember the neutral input. even if you press slow, they still register! then you speed up as soon as you get the feel of the rythm
Same here, I just started learning stick, but I can't do the KBD fast. I have no idea how people can move the little arcade joystick so fast to backdash so quickly. Just feels impossible.
Real shit your personality is a big push man don’t feel like you need the most unique and never talked about before stuff. Just your thoughts and feelings on how the game runs is sick, keep it up.
that hwoarang tip was jjust what i was looking for! thanks! if you could do more tips on hwoarang's pressure i'd be very thankful, i'm at a decent rank but that's a thing i have much dificulty in overcoming as i have little knowledge of the character which makes labing him even harder also, if you could put notations of the moves you are using like on the pinned comment would be very nice! just a small notation to orient us n00bs, your editing is nice, goes straight to the point, keep it up!
So just to give you a heads up. UA-cams algorithm supports consistency. Which can be hard on the content creator. But the more consistent you upload the more people the algorithm will show. You are currently Americas best and one of the best in the world. You have the reputation to work with. Just keep it going, I'm sure you can grow this very large. Also collaborating with other popular tekken youtubers will help tremendously. I'm sure ThatBlastedSalami would be thrilled to have you in a video or podcast. Also you can do sets against other youtubers like Little Majin, Frame Wisperer, and TheMainManSwe. Best of luck Amigo.
Thank you so much for these videos, it's the perfect content for when I don't know where to steer my focus on making my game better and I learn something new every time ✌🏼
Great work Anakin. It will great if you can make some recommendation of how to training for better movements using stick and pads. Keep up the good work!!
good videos! my first tekken was T2, and just recently joined online tekken. feels like you gotta "prefire" some of the stuff in between the strings sometimes, otherwise the timings are so narrow.
Loving the videos but your mic is so quiet I need to turn the volume way up to hear. I've noticed this on all your vids. Also if you could display the frame data, that would help. A few times you mention moves are punishable, but it's not clear exactly how punishable. Great job so far though!
It's the first video I saw from u. I liked it but can u move ur facecam to a corner or right in the middle on the button? That would be great because it's just blocking a huge part of the screen. May be it could be a bit smaller
Anakin! Been watching your videos lately. Can you do a video about how to play Law in high ranks? In short how to git gud. Oh and i also learned how to backdash from you, it was your video that helped me the most thanks!
Sorry took me a while to sub man. Better late than never tho. Would love to see u play lars as people says he’s trash love to see what u can do with that character!
Yoshimitsu spinning low kicks is quite easy to block if you notice fast but subtle down animation. Specially if they b2,2,2 then db3,3,3. If your opponent goes 3 after db3,3,3 then that's your opening to attack and use FLASH! Yeah boiii! Kill them with flash!
That anti Paul stuff is really hard to pull off in a match, one thing to do it in practice a whole other to do it online. I've known about it forever but i'm yet to pull it off in a match.
I don't understand the 3rd one AT ALL. You said somethign about blocking the low PORTION of the move? IDK what the move is. Is there two parts to the move? Isn't it just a grab? Do I have to block low? I have to space out perfectly to make him miss? Which part do you block is it a mid? I wish you went into more detail, IDK what the move is or what it does you forgot that part it seems.

Y'all should collab or something.
I appreciate these videos cuz I'm absolutely trash online 😲😂🕹️😎
How about a ft 5 or 10 you guys?
I cannot understate how much of a blessing one video a day is, specially helpful advice like this, thank you Anakin!

Really enjoying these videos, from both a learning and entertainment perspective.

Also that get up dive is +10 on block so jabs are guaranteed, they also float the opponent so you get a full combo.

We need better sound! Your voice comes in way too quietly. Aside from that, really digging the actual meat of the videos.
I'll work on this. Thanks!
I can hear fine... u either need another phone or some better headphones
