I have a Chevy Spark 2013 bought it new and no problems at all after 6 years.I love it drives great with 39 miles a gallon but the new ones make me jealous lol
I just got a 2017 with a sunroof. Worth it! And it is very quiet on the highway. I filled my gas tank with only 11 bucks! Also I've noticed that this car comes in several unique colors. Mint, lavender, and gold orange for example. If you're skeptical, don't be. This car is made for single mothers, teen drivers, young and singles, or couples! The only cons for me are how slow it is when you're trying to cross over into traffic. You can't floor it with this car. Another thing is if your kinda big, its a little uncomfortable, the seats.

When I'm in it doesn't feel small at all. I've been thinking about buying another one . Please GM don't change a thing about this car anything.
I bought my Chevy spark in 2018. Was a left over from 17 with no miles on it. I absolutely love my spark . O problems so far 36 thousand miles on it. I plan on buying another one . I did countless research on ever car think of all had recalls and problems with them . This was only car I didn't find any problems non them at all. It's a fun car drives great for what it is. I was worried about CVT engine so problems what's so ever . Never even feels like I have CVT engine. I highly recommend this vehicle.

Good to know that the Corvette team had some extra time on their hands to improve the least expensive car in the US. I had a 2014 LS manual which was efficient and fun to drive, but traded in for a 2022 LT1 CVT. More conventional appearance. Hard plastic throughout with improved fabrics. Power windows, locks, rear view camera, alarm system, cruise control, apple/android car play, and 10 airbags. So far, so good. Never thought I’d buy a GM product, but I’m okay with this one. Use it as a commuter car.
Thanks for the comment, we have one in our Service Department as a loaner car to run around town in and its funny to watch all the big SUV and Truck owners come back and say, "that's a fun little car, wow!"
I love mine . When i was looking gor a new car to buy i reviewed at least 30 cars and this was only car didn't have any recalls bad one's or any transmission or engine problems at all. CVT must change fluid and filter gear make it last way past 100 thousand miles. Very important with CVT

If you're planning on driving this until the wheels fall off, get the manual transmission. It'll last way longer. If you're planning on trading it in for another car within 10 years, get the automatic and trade it once it hits 100k to 115k miles.
I get the car from local distributors in my country (Israel) the spark LT without Engine Cover at all. I ask them and they say that not necessary. Do you know what if i really need Engine Cover (i buy) and what is it functional? At cars form they say to me : Reduce engine noise Heat protection to the wires
Hey Boaz the engine shield is mainly for reduced engine noise, protection of the wires from water when cleaning the engine compartment and lastly aesthetics aka it looks nicer more finished.
In Canada you can get a 1LT with manual transmission and sunroof (heated seats only on 2LT) but you can add aftermarket heated seats for roughly $500. Appreciate the comments, cheers!

I bought a 2019 Chevy Spark 5 speed manual with roll-up windows no power locks for $9,995 it's been a great little car I put over 20,000 miles on it in one year the manual transmission is a fun little car it also has Hill assistant so it will not roll back when you start on a hill I think with the 5-speed manual this car is going to run forever if I take care of it you get a lot of technology for the price I'm even going to buy another one and in7 or 10 years I will just get rid of this one and drive my brand new one that's sitting in the driveway

To my knowledge yes if you replace the whole head unit, its not just a program. I guess their are RAM memory & CPU differences between the different infotainment systems.

Android auto controls a bunch of approved automotive apps using voice commands including dialing and texting from your phone book, using waze and google maps. It won't open a gate to my knowledge if that helps?!
I have personally used this 2020 Spark to drive 300kms round trip with my cruise set to 104kms and I got 6.1L per/100 kms which is 46MPG CAD which is 38MPG US. Are you getting 38US or CAD out of yours?
@@WesternGMDrumheller I don't have a a Spark but I have the same class of car. You just demonstrated how Canada does it's fuel mileage ratings. They test the car at around 90 to 100 km/h on a straight road with no hills. Of course your going to get great fuel efficiency traveling at such a slow highway speed. What I'm saying is over 110 kmh, which is normal highway speed, you'll get about 38mpg. When I bought a 2006 Toyota Yaris, they claimed it would also get 50MPG. It never did. But it would get 30 and over no matter how hard I drove it. It only got about 38 mpg at normal trans Canada speeds MPG doesn't change by nation. It's the exact same car the Americans use. What these cars are really built for is city traffic. You could live at one end of a huge metropolis and your job at at the other. Cars like these get around 30mpg city mileage. However, Canada ALWAYS exaggerates the highway mpg in cars.
Sorry Cedric maybe I'm misunderstanding something so I'll start from the top. The LS and 1LT trims have a traditional key fob with a jack knife key built into it. The 2LT and Active (US model) trims have the passive keyless system with pushbutton start. So they all have keyless entry and alarms but only the top two trims have the passive systems with pushbutton start, hope that makes more sense, cheers!

Its due for a complete re-design for 2021! The 2020 is the fourth generation Spark and its at the peak of its reliability and in its last year of production of the fourth gen. I would expect it to be released around August or September later this year as a 2021 but its also possible that thy release it as a 2022 in March of 2021. I personally don't like it when Auto Manufactures do this (release a next year model at the start of a new year) but they ALL do it, lol, cheers!
I haven't gotten much info from GM Canada yet but if they do announce it in November 2020 it would likely be available for purchase 2-3 months after the announcement!

There is no maintenance to do on the CVT unless your fluids are dark. Under normal usage that maintenance might be NEVER but under severe conditions it could be every 45,000miles.
Better in which way because your incorrect about it being Expensive. The Accent & Rio are far off in quality of the Spark. However I do agree the Yairs is a great little car! But if you were to drive them back to back you will find the Yairs is tinny and loud inside the cabin and that the Spark is not only quieter but its more refined. When was the last time you drove a Spark or Yairs? What model years were they?

but the back part does it have bars in place if the back gets pushed in...saw vid where the back end test where it got pushed in was not...

50 mpg highway "Canadian" is not @ 110kph. You can expect around 38 highway and 30 city real life.

MPG doesn't change by nation. It's the exact same car the Americans use.

I was given 1 key no buttons but they told me they found other key hope its one on that key they have at dealer with the buttons
