I hear this time and time again from people in the highest positions in the film industry that its the politics of it thats the hardest! There is a romantic look that we all see as hollywood but its total BS
You'd be surprised by how hard and stressful operating a camera can be. Every small little movement has to be made consciously. Especially with Steadicam where you have to make sure to keep proper framing, proper posture, walking properly, and making sure you don't bump into any of the set dressing or such. I've been practicing Steadicam for a year now, and it's one of the most challenging positions on a film set that I've done.
Love her! Good to see women in this industry, especially one as passionate and articulate as Jessica.
This woman is amazing. I hope one day to be as dedicated and skilled as her.
Nothing but respect for her passion for being a Steadicam Op.

It's a fucking camera and walking around with it why does she gotta explain it like she landed a fucking rocket???? People these days Jesus.
Is it me or is she overdramatising operating a camera.
It's a tough business
She actually has underdramatized operating a camera. Film making is hectic.
