    This Heli flies sooooo dam well!! I totally switched from a 10 year Blade user to a huge Align fan. Top shelf all around. My 150X is a crap show. So many problems.

    As always Ben, another wonderful video. Well explained, well documented and great flying! It's Amazing that Align Helis fly so well right out of the box. Nothing to set up, just a Fantastic Combo where RTF means RTF!! 2 quick questions though Ben... 1) did you forget to update your address to mine here in Toronto, Canada?
    2) My heli must have something different in the set up... it doesn't fly half as well as yours in this video. lol Never mind Ben, I figured it out, it's ME, Pilot error! 😂🤣
    Cheers Ben & keep posting your Amazing Flights with the entire Align TRex Family! Stay well and stay Safe my friend! 😍👍🚁

    Great Video Ben! Very nice demo of how it’s ready to go with as little as a charge of the batteries right out of the box. I liked the video in the first seconds of playing! Thanks and keep up the good work man. 🤘

    Going to buy my first proper heli after flying a few cheap ones my latest is the blade 120 s I love this heli but I also like the trex450 lp which would be best for a beginner not much difference in price really

      Trust me smaller is better for bigginer I own a t rex450lp and a 470lm and the 470 will break easier from a small crash compared to my 450

    Ben thats some bad ass flying! Did you do any adjustments/trimming before flying?

    • @BenStorick
      @BenStorick  5 років тому +1

      Jason Day Thank you! Only “adjustment” I did was increase the roll rate pot as it comes all the way turned down from the factory and it’s kind of a personal feel thing.
      Other than that no setup or trimming needed! 🙂

    Stupid question- the landing skid is tilted- how i have to do the setup for swashplate and the neutral points of the servos?

    • @Mao_tse_tung
      @Mao_tse_tung 2 роки тому +1

      Like Normal basically just don’t mind the tilt. Servos should be centered too a vertical position etc. and swashplate level at true level. The tilt is to help prevent tail strikes

    Holy Bajesus! I was sitting here waiting for a slow, scale take off ... instead I seen a break dancing freak! How many years does it take to get even half way close to this kind of skill?

  • @dimtgco1428
    @dimtgco1428 5 років тому +4

    How much time does it take to develop the piloting skills you have mastered in this video? How many so you have to crash before you get there?

    • @EbonySeraphim
      @EbonySeraphim 4 роки тому +2

      Depends on the person, but probably would take a person who is coming from absolutely nothing (no prior or similar hobby/flight experience) at least 6 months but closer to a year. This is with a lot of time and effort put into it because you will be breaking and repairing things, and ordering replacement parts takes time before they arrive. I highly recommend investing in a simulator for PC (RealFlight 6.5 still works great) to cut down on crash costs early on and as lead in practice for anything too close to the maximum of your ability/comfort.

    • @BlvlWmpower
      @BlvlWmpower 4 роки тому

      EbonySeraphim I could not agree more with everything you said. I'm pretty much just constantly flying in a pirouette almost the entire flight lately at different rates of speed. it's easy to semi cheat and just crank the rudder and you can miss some imputs and still continue the pattern your flying. I can do funnels all day, but just spinning horizontally while flying around fast is harder than moving funnels for some reason.

  • @Zeaiclies

    How easy is it to fly?
    I have been flying collective pitch for two years.
    I have the blade 230s V2 but I do not do any 3D but I hate the brushless tail and want a fully collective tail but not a huge 450 class bird.

    • @BenStorick
      @BenStorick  5 років тому

      It feels like a bigger Heli, I’d say it fly’s very similar to a 450 size helicopter so with that being said I think it’s a great Heli to upgrade to for you!
      Thank you for watching! 😄

    My 300x flips slow...... did you adjust the roll rate?

    • @BenStorick
      @BenStorick  4 роки тому +1

      THX 1138 Yes default the Roll Rate pot comes turned all the way down for safety, so just gradually increase it until it feels comfortable for you! 👍🏻

    Tail wouldn’t hold at all out the box loads of vibes ...spent a lot of time trying to get performance from the tail anything like in this vid... might change the mini GRS out next as I like the form of this model...

    If they pack and ship without bubble rap or anything I'll pass

    • @BenStorick
      @BenStorick  5 років тому

      Eric Hiles there was a plentiful amount of “bubble wrap”/packing peanuts used inside the actual shipping container and also bubble wrap was used for the packing of the included A10 TX.
      Thank you for watching by the way! 👍🏻😄
