Now then, Mr Paul - where did you get those multi-purpose wipes at 9 minutes 30? These look handy enough things for getting a shell clean enough for paint - if they did. Report please when you can! The casting came up really well after a lively caustic bath and your Dremel handiwork! I also like those sanding pads - I use the Green Stuff sponge-sanding sticks, and whilst they are good, they are a bit too fiddly to use - so if that's a TEMU or whatever, I'm in! Your 'glass' came up a treat. I really need to find a single source for drills, taps, screws and washers that all talk to one another! I'm running out. Great paint - it looks better here than it did in the Paint it Blue compilation - and a perfect colour for the car. I used to drive a dark metallic grey one from time to time - really nice car, I thought, in the quirky way of French cars back then. Looks great!
The cleaning wipes are called "Prodec Multi Cleaning Wipes" and were purchased from the Range (also available on Amazon). The sanding pads came from Amazon in a pack of 54 with various grits.....PJ;)
