With Band-Maid fans you will always have internet besties- better than nothing- right. There are so many stories from people found comfort in their positive music and loving fans especially during Covid.
Hey Jess, great reaction! This is a little departure for Band-Maid, a song co-written with Mike Einzinger of Incubus, but it's still got a Band-Maid character to it. BTW: not if, but WHEN they tour the UK, just go and, believe me, you will accumulate more besties than you can deal with. Band-Maid fans are the best.
Hi Jess, if you ready to become PRINCESS. We are more than happy to WELCOME you. Maybe not the BESTIE that you want, but we’ll be here. That’s what we try to do in Band-Maid community (Of course, it’s not perfect but we do TRY). It’s not that I want to make you cry/sad but if you have time, maybe you want to check out ‘’ABOUT US’’ by B-M. I’ll be here enjoying myself with you Band-Maid’s Journey & say WELCOME HOME PRINCESS JESS. Thanks for reaction & Take care. PEACE&LOVE -🕊️🤗
Jess, I'm adding comments here instead of the chat section because of the limited text feature. Welcome to the joyful journey of discovery of Band-Maid and their music. It could take a while for you to explore their discography of over 130 songs. One way to really get insight to Band-Maid and its members is to react to an wonderful documentary series created by Ohrenje on his UA-cam channel. There are seven 30-minute videos in the series that feature each of the five band members individually. Miku gets three videos, since she was the founder of the band and her journey is such an interesting one.
Great reaction and because it was a collaboration with an Mike from Incubus, they decided that it was different enough to warrent the spring garden elves look. They also did an all acoustic show not that long ago and with reports, they worn the same outfits and had the same stage props as this video. Thanks for reacting to Band-Maid
Well, Bestie is their latest song and music video. A wonderful piece of music, quite mellow for Band Maid. I love it. So many more songs to go ... Next song: (rolling the dice) ... Oh: "Freedom" (live), a quite old song but the best live performance in my opinion, so much joy ❤ If you want to find new bands I can recommend "The Sixters" from Ukraine (currently living in Germany for obvious reasons). They are great. Pick any song you like: For a Limp Bizkit style song choose "City", for a ballad I recommend "I stare at you". For a fun video watch "Seem to dance" ... They are really great and they deserve more publicity!
I'm going to see Band Maid & The Warning in Tokyo next month. can't wait I suggest these Band Maid songs: Thrill, Dice, Manners, Bubble, No God (live) & Puzzle (live)
This has a different sound from most of their songs. Alone was the first song they were allowed to recorded without any help from other writers. It proved to their label what they were capable of. Dice, Blooming, Choose Me are great mv's. From Now On and Onset are instrumentals.
Interesting point you brought up about not having a Bestie and getting emotional listening to it. I would assume it would be similar for those that had a Bestie but no longer have one through growing apart, passing or betrayal. Also ones with no apparent connection other than living through joint life altering experiences.
Very nice reaction, Band Maid truly is a blessing to the music world. They, along with The Warning and Lovebites have rekindled my love for Rock and Roll. BTW, you may also want to checkout 'Daydreaming,' it is another one of Band Maids lovely ballads.
The Band Maid fans are great. I've made many great friends thanks to them. Some I have met in person. Other's just online. So, we will definitely be your internet friends and maybe you'll find a new bestie. The next time they tour the US, try to come over if you can. You won't regret it.
[Bestie, co-written by Michael Einziger of Incubus.] MISA's playing and bass tone are setting new standards... and Akane's drumming is so in-the-pocket and distinguishable... and Kanami's solo is Daydreaming masterful! The recording and mix are as enjoyable as the song and beautiful MV! Miku’s English lyrics (I bet with Saiki and Mikey-chan's influence) are heartfelt. "I can't look into your eyes." Is Band-Maid a band of fashion-forward, trend-setting Besties? 💞 Thx, Mikey & Band-Maid! FYI - The Maids just released a "Making of Bestie" on their websites where they explain the song and look of their awesome MV. Thx, Juliett!

Just remember, while the song is for the band members to each other, it's also for the fans, and that would be you, too.
They can make your face hurt from smiling or they can rip it off. Love this band.

Great reaction, I think it's wonderful that they touched you like that. I think you'd like their song Memorable :)
She needs the backstory on that one first
