My wife has had nystagmus from birth, she is high functioning but still has trouble driving at night. I worry about her. The doctor’s think maybe it has to do with the forecepts used at birth, they had to pull her out bc she was stuck and it left deep marks on her temples. Have your heard of this before?

Can nystagmus be treated? And is there any medicine for this to solve it?
Yes it can. We don’t deal with medicine. We practice optometry and vision therapy.
Can the photo syntonics also help when nystagmus is not as significant? Mine do move but more like a jerky movement most of the time.
Yes! We always incorporate syntonics therapy with our nystagmus patients.
Which syntonic light colour glass would you prefer for esotropia?
There are many factors that are tailored to each individual's medical condition, so we cannot say with a blanket statement which is best.
How much vision improvement is possible if I have fixed pupil after performing pupiloplasty due to trauma in childhood at 5yr. Cornea is fine. Currently vision is 6/12 after some months of vision therapy. Currently my age is 22 and got 6/12 from 6/60 after performing vision therapy in past few months

This should always be done under supervision of a trained doctor.

We dont really use the word cure but yes, it is treatable, and we have worked with hundreds of patients to dramatically reduce or eliminate it.
