I just pray and hope that this place won't be occupied by Foreigners and drug dealers and that it would well maintained. Strict rules and Maintenance would be key , otherwise there'll be no order like in Hillbrow.

This is cool we need more affordable housing around these areas. But what I wish for is retail and cool shops around rosebank and sandton so a lot of people can walk around the places and see more than just restaurants and retailers. I know we are a province that relies heavily on malls but like cape town, I want to have a walkable clean cities which have more than just clothes, food and apartments.

No money for homes (edit: for people who are not wealthy) but 3 billion for yet another ugly development for rich people. Is it energy efficient, sustainable, net zero, green, renewable energy etc etc. Can people walk or cycle there or use public teansport or do they have to drive there?
SA 50 years behind the rest of the world. Everything is built piecemeal without consideration of environment, climate, people or the city as a whole.
