Hey! Great video man! I'm curious, there is a sputtering sound I hear at the beginning of the video. What is that? Is that the auto drain valves on the air tanks?
+freighttrainsahpassing When I'm down in Albany I usually will spend part of the day at the Amtrak station watching the UP. You do kind of get the feel for when PNWR trains will arrive and you can hear the horns in the distance usually. So many of my videos happen because I just am at the right place by chance so I stay prepared! Thanks for watching and commenting :D
The GPs on the Portland and Western are beautiful old girls. I live in Corvallis, so enjoy their company several times a week.
Great Video! Nice catch of the non patched SP Locomotive.
P&W 3001’s horn has been replaced but it sounded funky in this video. What kind of horn is on 3001 at the time of this video?
Hey I live in Albany
Really nice presentation! The railfan added another dimension.
Nice catches! I did not know 3001 had a K5LA, and that it's still in service! Aside from that, great shots and nice catch with the unpatched SP.
also, SP power on old SP rails (the PNWR was SP operated, and the Brooklyn sub was as well.)
I like train videos on UA-cam 😁
Good video
I like your videos
@@OtterMan310 Thanks you! 👍
Another lovely video!
Potencia y sonido magnífico de UP. Muchas gracias.
Great video.
Nice PDX and Western train!
Very nice video.
I presume that the UP power was headed to Ashair to pick up the Eugene Hauler? I've seen that railfan before in town!!
Metro Vick Yes it was. Nice to see big power on that line to Corvallis. Thanks for watching!
Nice catch.
8:09 do I spot a pair of EMD SD60F’s?
The horn sounds sick, but a neat video.
It got replaced. I wish I could have seen it in person but whatever. It would take me an hour to get to where 3001 operates anyway.

wat loco was that yard slug use to be 2:31?
This particular track isn't used a lot. Did you have to wait awhile or do you have a good feel for the schedule ?

Jeremy Taylor Do you know what time train leaves Albany in the direction of Corvallis ?
+freighttrainsahpassing I've seen it leave at around 6-7ish, but I just moved to Albany, so I don't know completely
