I think he's going to lose a bunch of money to hollis, and he tries to get a cut of the money that the pogues are after. then by the looks of it, their boat gets wrecked and they all end up in morocco together and he realises how deep he's gotten himself and he still tries to get money even if it means double crossing everyone, but then he just has to band with the pogues

writer focus on a person every season. season 1 was john b season 2 was pope season 3 was kie season 4 is jj and next season most likely sarah if she’s pregnant by the end of this season.

I feel a bit sad for the rest of the cast because of all the people who won't watch season 5 (or even rewatch the earlier seasons) because of the season 4 ending. Season 4 part 2 shows that the showrunners don't really understand why a huge part of the audience watched. We watched for comfort and escapism, not for action and melodrama. I haven't seen showrunners mess up this bad since the end of Game of Thrones. If the actor wanted to leave they could have stopped after season 3 or even 4 (with a happy ending) or even written him out in another way. The show could have had a great legacy, now I doubt that will happen.
