My take after owning it for 6 weeks driving it daily and have passed 800 miles.
-Agree on the footpegs, im 6.2 and think that this is a small issue i need to deal with in the future.
- At low rpm and adding some gas its a annoying sound said to be from the cam chain tensioner. There is as far as ive read a solution from a company called dirt tricks or something. Will deal with also.
Otherwise best bike ive ever had so far 👍
This will be my next adv bike. You hit the nail on the head. No other middle weight bike offers everything this bike does while still being reasonably priced. The desert x is an amazing buke but the suspension needs work and its way more expensive. The expedition just ticks all of the boxes.
Of my motorcycles this is my go to bike I have to talk myself out of riding as it was intended as my bad weather bike. I've had issues with mine which the dealer has been all over. I would buy this bike again no hesitation. I have over a 1,000 miles on the bike and she' doing great...I rode 700 miles in January, February and March in Buffalo...wow easy winter. Ride safe please keep watching more to come on this bike.
No other bike have this many issues and warranty claims rejected
@@Angry-Lynx what issues have you had at what miles ??
Great video. Truly enjoyed it. I have a 2023 KTM 890 adventure S model. So far, so good, no glitches, or any issues at all bike is performing as all of my Japanese brand of bikes have done in the past…. my assurance for buying this bike was I bought a four year warranty on top of the standard warranty so if the bike eats its cams or blows up a motor, it’ll be covered by warranty…. so I will see in my long-term riding of this bike just how good KTM brand is….. anyways, be safe out there, and enjoy life to the fullest.
Glad. to hear your bike is doing well, I also purchased a 4 year warranty with this bike...I hope it is not needed. Ride safe please keep updating me.
Definitely will keep you updated on the long-term ride ability of my KTM 890 adventure S.
Trans alp new in Ireland is the same as a 2 year old 901 Expedition, so I'll buy the 901
Go Irish good for you. Both are great bikes. Ride safe.
Such a cool looking bike!
Isn't just beautiful. I'm glad you appreciate the quality of the video...my narration is terrible but the imagery is great I think. I love the looks of this bike. Husqvarna needs to add some color to the base model.
Double round head lights would look awesome
Moto Guzzi V85TT...
I love double headlights, Moto Guzzi and Ducati knew what they were doing. Ride safe thank you
This would be my first choice as well...but those camshaft issues in the 790/890 steer me towards the more boring vstrom. Its the no cruise and tubed tires which keep me from pulling out my wallet for the 800DE. However, I know the Suzuki will always turn over and get me down the road. I'm kinda done with Triumph for now.
No cruise sucks but the tubeless wheels are easy to rectify.
How any sane person would take vstrom when u have Africa twin, if u get 2020+ have cc too, off-road capable, tubless, modern, reliable and DCT, DCT alone makes AT worth buy
I've had issues with my bike...I need to post videos on it soon. This is my favorite bike I'm putting too many miles on it. Ride safe V-Strom is a solid bike.
I think Big Rock Moto did. Be safe.
Sir you are correct the African Twin is great, but it's heavier and carry's it's weight much higher, by the way you can find a new African Twin in the states. Ride safe. .
Petty nitpick on the pronunciation of the Husqvarna but as you can see by the spelling of the name that there's no 'A' after the letter 'Q' so there's no need to pronounce it with one.
Hill assist is a very nice feature to have on these mid size and full size adventure bikes, I'd find myself in a bit of a pickle in some scenarios on my 1250 GSA if it didn't have that feature. I doubt you'll see adaptive cruise on the middleweight bikes from manufacturers that offer larger, more premium adventure bikes, at least not anytime soon. I agree with in regards to cruise, in the adventure bike category it's no longer debatable for myself, it's a necessity.
Thanks, was about to say the same
I understand the writting isn't obvious for english speakers. It's "Husk varna" not "Huska varna"
My problem is I can't speak, write or read english...pathetic I'm sorry. You both are so right...have the time I refer to my Norden as Ducati....I'm getting old. Please ride safe and continue to comment I greatly appreciate the help.
Sw Moteac do excellent panniers
Yes I've heard I need to research. Ride safe thank you
@@maraudermitchelli Tusk Olympus = best bags for the $ hands down
I think it does have cruise in Europe
My Norden has cruise i believe they all do. Ride safe.
my US 901 does
