MysteryMeat here! I am not being hyperbolic when I say this, but this completely changed my perspective on how to tank properly. My eyes are opened. And my aim definitely needs work. I’m actually not only new to OW but I’m new to FPS and mouse and keyboard, so it’s all new to me haha. I’ll definitely make an effort to improve my aim as well. Overwatch is also my first fps that I picked up a couple months ago. Placed silver and dropped to bronze, but finally made it to gold on all roles yesterday (mainly thanks to Adder). Finding new ways to view the game is one of the key ways to consistently win games I've found. E.g mastering the basics will get you much further than you may think. gl!

@@OpenSecretFGCI’ve been playing the game off and on since the open beta of OW 1, yes 1, and my max rank is diamond, and Adder played a big role in that. It first happened to me on the tank role. You might be wondering why am I not higher if I’ve been playing so long, and that’s because I’ve take long breaks, sometimes multiple year breaks. I left the game in season 4 OW1 as a 2700 plat player (I think that’s plat 3 now), and when I came back in season 18, I was comfortably in silver. The community gets better as time goes, so it’s not like you can take breaks and come back and expect everyone else to still be the same skill. Especially if they didn’t take break. The bronze players from then were probably gold or plat. My point is, just play the game and of course supplement your learning from Adder’s videos, and you will get better. The game has been out a while now so it’s going to take a lot of time to get passed gold and plat and even longer for higher ranks. People make it seem like gold and plat are easy to hit, and they are compared to higher ranks, but to someone new they are actually kind of difficult to quickly hit unless you are a quick study.

@@SindokuThank you for your comment, Sindoku! This game is definitely a lot for a newbie like me, but I am absolutely loving this game and tank and I’m gonna make sure I stay consistent. I really want to hit silver 1 by the end of the year.
