Renovation of Matchbox Citroen SM Coupé Doctor Emergency Speed ​​Kings No. K-62.

This time I am presenting a Matchbox model from 1976. I got it from a Polish friend who bought it at an antiques market in Wrocław. The Doctor Emergency version of the Citroen SM Coupé was produced by Lesney until 1980. Later, production was continued by Bulgarian factories, which changed the body color to metallic blue, while the glass was transparent and the light also had no color. In this renovation, I used decals of company stickers, not paper stickers as in the original. I also made a copy of the cardboard box with window that the model was also sold in. My father-in-law drove a Cit SM and I remember the car well. I'm not directly familiar with this Matchbox version
(Either it wasn't sold here at us... or the others were a bit faster than me, back then 🙄😁)

Hi Paul ,once again brilliant restoration, such a joy to watch . Just a few questions, if u dont mind
1) I sprayed the body ofter fixing the decals - was that a clear coat ? Shellac ?
2) What kind of machine is that ,the one that can shape plastic sheet into desired shapes ?
3 ) What gauge of screws and screw tap for the base ,size ?
-I think the bix has 1 more inner component that is missing .

Thank you very much. I'm answering now. After gluing the decal, I spray the body with a clear acrylic varnish to strengthen the decal. you can also choose not to do it. I use taps for metric screws, size M2, and I screw the body together with Torx screws, 4 mm long. in the place you are writing about, there was a plastic hitch for pulling the trailer, but I decided that it would be unnecessary for the emergency doctor's car. 11:34 tak mnie zaciekawiło czy czasami nie ma pan zrąbanego podajnika papieru z tacy ? i dlatego musi pan wkładać kartki od góry ? bo ja mam model MG5250 i też nie chce pobierać papieru z tacy a jedynie słychać taki stukot tego podajnika (czy jak to sie zwie...).. widać fachowcy z Canona dali tyłka i to chyba nie tylko problem jednego modelu...(no cóż rozbierać mi sie tego nie chce żeby zobaczyć o co tam chodzi bo z doświadczenia wiem że już nie był bym w stanie złożyć to do kupy.. trochę to niewygodne w użytkowaniu ale cóż..

Tak nawiasem mówiąc to ten mój dolny podajnik działa natomiast kartki z kalkomanii drukuję od góry bo przy podaniu że będę drukował najwyższą jakością na papierze fotograficznym Drukarka nie pobiera papieru zdolnego podajnika bo musiałaby go zawinąć A taki papier jest za twardy.
