Also Sri Lankan fans tend to prefer to watch test matches on television rather than come to the ground because the tests are televised live on free to air tv in Sri Lanka. For odis though sri lankan fans are there in force especially if it is played in colombo where Sri Lankan crowds generate a tremendous joyous party atmosphere for their team. That is why its great attending ODI in Colombo. Because even if the match wasn't good, you can bet the atmospehre generated at cricket grounds in colombo for odi's will be terrific for the Sri Lankan team, this only happens in odi's though.

@Han Cue Thats very true but you must also factor in that cricket in England is generally followed by small but very cricket passionate chunk of middle class English men and women who are doing good jobs and have money and can afford to follow the England team to other cricket playing countries which are generally very far away from England by plane compared to say Europe. By plane direct West Indies (10 hours away), South Africa 11 hours, South Asia (Sri Lanka 12 hours away). Australia with one stop is 8 and 12 hours away. So English cricket crowds are generally middle class in England and well off and can afford to support their team in their thousands on winter cricket tours to other far away cricket playing nations.

Rory Burns's first movement is always across which is the result of his head leaning towards the off side as the bowler is about to deliver the ball, this is why he was no where near the ball on his wicket delivery and means he will be prone to LBW......Regardless of his ability on the leg side. Great lesson to stay balanced
True that head still either LBW or Behind if you still moving while the ball has been delivered you can't cover your off stump and you'll fall for sure
To be fair Steve Smith's a lot like that. Burns has been scoring consistently against the swinging ball in the Championship so if he can adjust to the bit of extra pace and discipline at international level he could do well. Just needs to cut out that swing at the wide deliveries or he'll keep getting burgled down the leg side like he did yesterday.

Look at Pat Cummins video about setting up Joe Root & then emphasise his movement to the level that Rory goes across at.
