Is anyone else watching this in October? Ali has come so far😭 his Pokémon aren't even in the 1000s yet and he thinks 324 is high CP! If I could go back in time, I would tell him how much he improves at this game, all the updates, and that his Pokémon would be 1000+ CP

Just wanted to give Ali and you guys a tip if you click the near by icon and click the Pokemon icon, when the Pokemon nearby you is selected when you tap on the compass icon it will pint you to the exact position. Hope this tip helped you out! And have fun while you are out! And for those younger viewers be careful and always have a parent or friend with you, you never know who is waiting at a gym lol
I don't think this works? I just tried it and it just points the camera either north, or the direction that my avatar is facing.

TIP: Don't transfer the low CP pokemons. When you fight gyms with only 1 pokemon you first pick 5 pick low cp pokemons to get him low hp and then use a high cp pokemon as your 6th pokemon to finish him off. You can still transfer you 1 hp pokemon after that and your high cp pokemons will be high hp.
You have so much space so what I do is keep one of each pokemon I find and transfer the rest for candy. This way I always have plenty of space(you have 200-something spaces for pokemon, you don't need to worry for a WHILE aside from organizing) and I have the best pokemon available for any situation, especially gyms.

I find that Pokemon are more likely so appear on streets instead of main roads, just from personal experience.
I think that's for safety purposes. Very few Pokemon on the highway and impossible to catch at high speeds: they literally poof away, even during a successful capture since the game is distance based
+Tim Dougherty I've found that if you turn of AR in battle they dont just poof away you can battle and capture them while you're riding in a vehicle no matter how far you go.

I just caught enough eevees today to evolve it, it was a 305 cp eevee, evolved it and it was a jolteon with 723 cp which is my strongest pokemon so far

It's not a myth it just doesn't work if you are capturing pokemon in AR mode. Switch it off and you can retrieve your pokeballs.
