L’Esprit’s sire is the Grand Prix stallion Desperado, a key part of the Dutch team under Emmelie Scholtens. The dam side is equally impressive: his dam, granddam, and great-granddam all performed at Z-level in dressage. Sport is clearly deeply embedded in this maternal line.
