Excuse-me, i've downloaded many ps2 emulators and all of him didn't work because of missing dll files: vcruntime, msvcp.....etc, if it's not those the problem so it's also the api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll. Doesn't exist a ps2 emulator who can't show me those problems?
The way they did put their effort and focus on the User Experience so much to make it as automatic as possible in this major release makes me love the PCSX2 team even more, collaborating with duckstation was a huge W

This looks like Duckstation now. I installed this ps2 emulator. It is great that it looks just like duckstation which makes it easy to use. It works great. Works well with my xbox controller.
Just a tip, If you want crystal clear smoothed graphics you should go under internal resolution and set it to "4x Native" and turn on FXAA contrast sharpening to "sharpen and resize display resolution" you can also turn dithering to completely off to remove the muddy texture overlay, it looks absolutely amazing on my RTX laptop

Partnering with duckstation is an amazing idea. Makes pcsx more user friendly and doesn’t seem jarring to newcomers, and allows more people to emulate their favorite games. Also seamlessly connecting my controller is a godsend.

I would love to see also a guide about best mame32(which one the best,most working games etc) and how to set it up,and also,something important,how to install and activate cheats on pcxs. No,im not a game cheater and i never loved using cheats in my games,but,one of my favorite games is Shadow of the Colossus,i still have the retail copy on my shelf and once,i tried to activate the cheats for the unlocked items only and no matter the guides i found online and on youtube,i couldnt activate them no matter what.

Very good tutorial! I managed to make GTA LCS playable with the texture pack. The only problem I had was trying to run the game with the 60fps patch, I had slowdown even with an RTX 3060. But it's still playable at 30, thanks a lot!
ps2 state of emulation is absolutely amazing, runs perfectly in my s24u (SD8gen3) and in my arcade cabinet!!! AMD 7840HS 740M with Batocera. Love this emu
I sometimes put the resolution to the PS2's native 512 x 448i because you get a genuine look of the system that way. I can't explain why, but while I love the crisp higher res of the Dreamcast and Xbox, the softer look of the PS2 with the interlaced flicker just looks so... nice? I disable that horrible motion blur they used on PS2 90% of the time however.
imo because of the low res textures in the dreamcast, i think it looks the best at its native resolution. even better if you have a 4:3 or 5:4 monitor that can support that resolution. i feel the same way about the ps2 as well, but the textures and models are a little bit better than that. xbox is definitely good looking at higher resolutions, with its higher poly count and texture resolution. makes sense why the xbox one and series games run those at 720p - 4k.
The last time i used PCSX2 I was so confused by the cover art downloader. I tried linking directly to image url's of individual Google Image search results, thinking that's what I had to do - nope. Thank you so much!

I only found out about it within a 10sec coverage in a 15min video on the psp iso's to cso. I think coverage like this is important to some. Especially since there's a decent amount of tools out there
check on Rowdy's chanel for a complete GT4 tutorial, you will be amazed of what the modding team made for the game, it's absolutly wonderful! I also did a couple of videos on GT4.
Playing through some Test Drive Eve of Destruction scaled up to 1440p and its a gorgeous game for its time. I love that I can dump all my old games that I own from childhood to my PC without turning on my PS2 and wearing that down.
Even though PCSX2 can read and play games from your computer's builtin or external optical drive, I highly recommend copying them to your computer via ImgBurn. Games run a lot better via ISO or Bin and Cue files, especially when copied to your computer properly for PCSX2. Even though it is more tedious, ImgBurn to the lowest recommended read speeds to ensure no read errors occur. Also, don't worry if the disc you are copying results in bin and cue files. This is correct. This usually results from those blue bottom disc PS2 games.
I converted all my 2TB library collection into CHD, but I know my collection is not complete. I have passed them all to my arcade cabinet. Wish I had a fast switch into digital as analog combination though, but games like fighting games and tony hawk feel absolutely killler

Improvements over 1.6 or 1.7 ? If you played only on 1.6, yes the hardware rendering compatibility has improved a lot, they fixed tones of games. This version is better in every ways imo

This looks like Duckstation now. I installed this ps2 emulator. It is great that it looks just like duckstation which makes it easy to use. It works great. Works well with my xbox controller.
Stenzek, one of the developers of Duckstation also worked on this UI re-work for PCSX2, along with other non-UI contributions added to the project.
Hope it gets all Duckstation functionalities

Try increasing the Cycle rate thing, go to settings -> emulation -> increase the EE Cycle rate

DON'T 448 is interlaced it works on a CRT only on a monitor's it's like playing at 224p which's disgusting

CHD it's lossless and the compressor tool in EmuDeck makes it easy. Works on Windows and Steam Deck/Linux

When I press circle, it pauses the game. How do I stop this?
There might be a hotkey activated that pauses when you press it, go to Settings -> Hotkeys and check the 'Toggle Pause' option

It means dumping (extracting) the BIOS file from a PS2, but you can also find the bios file on the internet
