You are correct she is getting criticized left and right is very popular atm. A lot of the haters are that haters, they'll never be happy no matter what she does. They'll do the same with the other members too. It is just getting ridiculous because a lot of the people criticizing don't know 💩 about what goes into a performance and performing. Plus she is dancing and moving about as well. I never expect a live performance to sound like a studio quality. It is just unrealistic.
I was there under the rain. Her performance was amazing. She is both dancing and singing which is hard to do especially in this kind of event. It was also raining. Lisa did have backtrack and a bit of splitting where she is also singing live. Doja Cat also had backtrack.The other artists are also have backtrack especially bc of the multiple artists. She is not Adelle for goodness sake. She’s a performer who is a rapper, dancer who did an amazing job. It was enjoyable watching her. The production was fire with the new choroe. 🙌🏽🔥👏🏽💪🏽👑💫🎸🤘🏽🥰❤️🔥
tell that to beyonce, gaga or ariana. matter of fact, tell that to rose or mamamoo or red velvet. i love lisa like everyone else but this "she's also dancing" excuse for many kpop artists is always corny because they don't go at DANCING festivals. they go at festivals for singers where artists sing, rap, etc.. only thing she needs to do is lower the background vocals a bit so that she can actually connect with the audience. otherwise her performances will feel superficial. like a mixture of great professional execution but no connection between the singer and the audience because they don't hear her enough.

I think it would be maybe closer to Britney and Madonna who are amazing performers especially in dancing and creativity but didn’t have strong vocals compared to their contemporaries like Christina A or Whitney.

Lisa's backtrack was so loud, and if you watched the whole festival you would've noticed that the sound problems began the performance before lisa's, though i still agree that she needs to lower the backtrack it's not doing her any good. she's a good perfomer, and even if her voice cracks once or twice no one's gonna blame her

The parts where she sang were ALMOST the same where she wasnt singing, a minimum difference! The loud backtrack plus the poor singing made the whole thing underwhelming !! A rather a good pre-recorded and great dance perfomance !

All the haters camping here my god, I actually agree with your opinion, mind you some of the others artist in GCF had backtrack too and had sound issues.Plus its common practice for major pop artists to use backtrack and lipsync.
Although I wish she would lower the backtrack and improve her vocals, its still fine to me, nothing to witchhunt someone over. Its one thing to sing with a group for 8 years and then carry full solo songs, especially not being the vocal member of the group, a little grace doesn't hurt anybody.
Lol lots of comments about lipsync. The thing is, the people who were actually there and heard it all said they can hear lisa’s voice. Despite the loud backtrack where in this case, this one is much louder than the vmas but people in the venue itself heard her and applauded her for doing well. The backtrack should support you, not being the full voice! You can hear her but low, also she wasnt dancinh that hard!
@@joeaaron1 she was dancing hard first, second you could clearly hear her even with the loud backtrack second, and there where sound issues (a number of the performers you couldn't hear certain parts of their performances, although their backtracks where not as loud because they weren't dancing like her , so you just hear the music playing and light backtrack but don't hear their mics) third.

I am so proud of Lalisa. She have to performed 5 songs in the rolls. To be singing dancing in the rain on wet floor, it very difficulty. However she work very hard to providing this performance for Gobal citizens that makes me appreciate her the most.
I enjoy her work in BP, but she’s not strong enough as a solo artist. She’s a great performer, but I was hoping her solo would showcase more of her vocal ability at stage events as these.. it gives the opportunity to connect raw.. Instead, it felt more focused on dancing and looking pretty. This is just a subjective opinion-I'm not hating, just a bit let down.

You guys are saying it is festival so thats okay.but you guys reacted on lessrafim cochella but you guys said about their vocals instability.atleast their live .you guys are really biased.😅
But they also defended leserrafim. LSF WERE vocally unstable and it's because their choreos were impossible to sing with stability. They even recommended a higher split for those performances as well (which LSF seemed to have done on the 2nd week?).
Did they criticize Lesseafim's vocals instability on Lesserafim's rapper/dancer member or the vocalist? Or did they criticize Leeserafim's rap instability on the vocalist members or to the rapper members? Genuinely asking.
Did Lesserafim's performance LIVE just for the sake of LIVE but the performance became less enjoyable? A Group and A solo have different "mercy" for mistakes too. If a whole group still has not managed to save a performance, that's really bad. If a solo gives an enjoyable performance, but they just don't sing full LIVE that's another.
If they criticized Lesserafim in the right place, I don't see the problem?
They didn't say Lisa is an amazing vocalist for her non-full-LIVE-vocal performances, they said she never marketed herself as the LIVE vocalist type of singer, and she still gave good performances overall, so she is still a good performer. Or did I misunderstand their reviews?
Lesserafim lipsynced the whole thing. They didn't week 1 and it was awful, but they magically could sing flawlessly week 2? Use your brain. You can clearly hear Lisa's voice and breathing in the fancams

She was criticized on her VMA performance, I was hoping her team took that consideration and did something to improve or address that criticism. But of course, they never did. The festival performance was more obvious since she sang 5 songs. Yes, she hyped the crowd by shouting through the mic, and I would say those were the only parts that I could say confidently say she did it live.

In all fairness Lisa and her team gave it(and Every other performance!) their all ...and more!!! While waiting for the show to start in my corner of the world i watched last year's kpop guest artist performance. Suffice to say(no hate ok,just stating the obvious!) his agency didn't go out of their way to impress anyone!!! You simply can't begin to compare it to Lisa and Lloud's(it's barely 9months old mind!!) Spectacular performance!! It just pales in comparison!! Lisa and her amazing team had Meticulously paid attention to Every single detail one could think of !!! Only difference is that this was Lisa’s very first Solo concert… so far she only had very tiny performances this was the first time she performed

As a blink I gotta be honest, so I LOVE her solo songs but I feel like her latest solo live performances are not really giving.. like they lack something.. its just not (visually) captivating. Lisa’s creative production team or whatever should actually come up with something creative and appealing.

I've been holding off on saying this since I got into K-pop in fear of the fans, but I'm gonna say some opinions that blinks won't like. I would just like to make clear I'm neither a fan nor anti of bp, but have checked out their title tracks when they've been released. Alright onto the opinions: 1. Blackpink got a lot of their popularity because of their label 2. Most of their title tracks follow the same layout and have the same sound essentially. Example: Ddu-du-ddu-du and Kill this love, only difference between the two, some electronic horns in the chorus of kill this love. For the specific Lisa examples, I am just reiterating what others have said in which she wasn't even full out performing either and just walking around and lipsyncing. I just want to make clear that the bp members are talented, but I definitely don't think they are the best out there. They got a lot of fame from their company and seniors. That's the bummer of groups debuting out of the now big 4 companies.

I feel like BP, despite being senior idols, actually lack the experience that other girl groups gain over time. Their discography is half that of groups a fraction of their age and they arent performing around the clock the same way rookie groups do. They shot to fame so fast and sort of broke what was expected of a typical idol groups career trajectory. The girls are talented and work hard but seem more like celebrities than entertainers. But didn't they sing live at school festivals and radio shows as rookies? They did more live singing as rookies than the newer gen of KPop idols. They also had good encore stages. Sure, they don't do that nowadays and their discography is shallow at best but it doesn't mean they didn't prove their mettle. They were called monster rookies for a reason.
@ma.dolldoll9003 you're right, I meant it more in a 'she's a little rusty' type of way. When you aren't practising singing and performing live regularly I imagine it's easy to feel a little uneasy or out of practice, hence the backing track.

I never doubted lisa’s abilities when performing live, the fact that she use to be in a group and sang/ rap couple of times in there songs and then performing alone honestly in my point of view is hard adjusting to everything that she is used to do. I didn’t hate her performances i’m just hoping in the future she would be more comfortable and confident with her singing voice cause we all know she rocks the stage.
Lisa clips during rehearsal shown she is actually prepared for live show, but it’s actually raining and even the stage is actually very wet. regardless of that, she still try to do her best in term of performing. I believe she definitely change her plan. also she actually not good at lipsync as well, as u see she didn’t even pretend to put her mic all the time near her mouth, she’s not trained for that.

Guys chill. They are disappointed that the backtrack is loud too. They are not praising Lisa’s performance in the videos but the previous videos in which they reacted to. They said that they know her skill set and hence were not fully satisfied with this performance. They are still criticizing this performance like they do at every reaction as objectively as they can. The Le sserafim reaction at Coachella was because obviously there were barely any splits and their lack of live skills came through. Which is a different criticism with Lisa. Their criticism here is that LLOUD chose to have her perform with a louder backtrack on a split which doesn’t showcase her skills and hence allows non-fans to accuse her of lip synching.

I think it's whole rca issue same happened to doja she was screaming to be heard due to loud back track and as a person who was present in front row Lisa was actually screaming a lot so that she could beat backtrack but if you are in front you can hear her voice but in video there's only backtrack even her screaming is not heard I hope her team work with rca and discuss this. I love Lisa like everyone else but this "she's also dancing" excuse which is also used for other artists or kpop artists as well is always corny because they don't participate at DANCING festivals. They go to festivals for singers where artists sing, rap, etc.. Beyonce, Gaga or Ariana sing while dancing. Matter of fact, Rose, Mamamoo, Red Velvet... even New Jeans and IVE sing while dancing. Only thing she needs to do is lower the background vocals a bit so that she can actually connect with the audience. Otherwise her performances will always feel superficial. Like a mixture of great professional execution in terms of production but no connection between the singer and the audience because they don't hear her enough. And that's a problem she needs to address otherwise none of this will be memorable. It's actually surprising to me how much lip-sync she does ever since she went full solo outside of YG. Because I KNOW in Born Pink tour she wasn't like this. Either it's a lack of preparation or a lack of confidence by the fact that she's on her own for the first time. Whatever it is, she needs to get over it.

Y'ALL, they didn't say Lisa is a good vocalist/singer despite not fully LIVE sing her performances. They said Lisa is (so far) never marketed her career as a vocalist, so they don't understand why people expect her to sing full LIVE vocals. Lisa still gave good, entertaining performances, so it counts as good entertaining performances, so she is still count as a good performer.
