- nintendo 2024 just got interesting! so it seems we have a new nintendo switch 2 leak AND nintendo direct leak to talk about. more switch 2 details have leaked out for the nintendo switch 2 reveal & next nintendo direct. is it a September nintendo direct or a august 2022 nintendo direct for next week? and mean big things for nintendo switch owner if they own a ton of nintendo switch games from the legend of zelda breath of the wild to upcoming new nintendo switch games like the glend zelda echoes of wisdom and mario and luigi brothership!

I wan't to believe the Nintendo Direct leaks are real, but it's not about the Nintendo Switch 2 I would LOVE and hope to see my birthmonth september's Direct is about the Partner Showcase with Microsoft, Sega and Square Enix with these games: Crash Team Rumble, Hi-Fi Rush, Fantasian Neo Dimension, Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D, Jet Jet Radio Remake and Sonic Dream Team, Nintendo mini Direct with Remakes like The Legend of Zelda The Windwaker & Twilight Princess HD Remakes, Kirby Robobot Planet or Super Mario Party Jamboree or about of NSO DK64 & Diddy Kong Racing 64 or Gamecube coming for NSO I really hope it's nothing about the Switch 2, but some of these games or NSO that I list september my birthmonth and Nintendo Direct mini can't wait i'm so HYPED: Here we GOO WAHOO! 😊❤

TL:DR My predictions are a Fuga Melodies of Steel 3 reveal trailer and the original 4 .hack games remastered/remade.
My prediction for random reveals at the next Nintendo direct. CyberConnect2 has returned to making original IP games recently and I think it'd be great to see something from that show up in a Direct, not just another anime game from them. They've currently got Fuga Melodies of Steel 3 coming out next year and I think an announcement during a direct in particular would be good for getting that series more noticed. I don't think they have the funds set up for that to happen, but since the series has been a pretty good success for their Little Tail Bronx series I can see them possibly putting a reveal trailer in a Nintendo direct.
Though what I'm hoping for is that Bandai has been secretly remastering or remaking the original 4 .hack games. CC2 has been really pushing for that series to make a comeback since G.U. Last Recode came out 7 years ago and I've been seeing a lot random news about it showing up a lot recently, granted a lot of it was for the series 20th anniversary stuff which was a big blow out of merch released over the past 2 years, CC2 is still very passionate about this series.
Anyway I'd be happy with just a remaster of these games, but I know they've aged like milk and they really need a remake instead. If Bandai stays stubborn I just see a remaster happening eventually, maybe for the 25th anniversary, but I think a very out there thing that might happen is that Bandai would give that remake to Monolith Soft with CC2 supervising it...
Now hear me out the main reasons why I'm saying this is because .hack is a very similar series to the Xeno series. These original 4 games play a lot like an early prototype Xenoblade, and the stories present throughout a lot of the .hack series are just as philosophical and character driven as the Xeno series is. If you're a fan of the Xeno series I actually do recommend checking .hack out if you can get access to some of the entries. Most of them aren't cheap, but G.U. Last Recode goes on sale frequently for $5.
Anyway the only reason why I'm kind of thinking Monolith Soft might be working on a project like this is because of that rumor of a game codenamed "Legacy." This is definitely not a Xeno game and Monolith Soft doesn't have that many IPs outside of Xeno. This could be a new Baten Kaitos game, but I don't think Bandai would greenlight that without good sales for the recent remaster which from what I've seen weren't that great unfortunately. It might be another Project X Zone game, but I don't think "Legacy" really describes that series personally.
I think that codename probably pertains to a Bandai Namco property that they wanted Monolith Soft to work on, since they're still in a good working relationship with them even though they're owned by Nintendo now. I think a .hack remake would be a pretty good candidate for that though that is my very out there prediction.
Regardless I think CC2 is passionate enough to bring .hack back eventually, and Fuga hasn't been that subtle with .hack like references throughout it's games so that might be in motion already. If they can't officially return to the series due to Bandai's stubbornness they'll most likely eventually do a spiritual successor instead.

@RoBoRoB true true, it does look quite large and weird. u have to put the switch backward onto it and can leave the controllers on it. But just like rumors, patents aren't 100% legit. But it's nice to see a new switch in the diagram.

Nintendo will announce the Nintendo Switch 2 next year in 2025 and since they've planned the Nintendo Direct announcement presentation next last week of August 2024 till next month September.

The main reason is that we don’t need an improved version of the system because it’s already good enough as it is and anytime nintendo makes a new console The price of the game is go up by about $20-$30. So people need to stop asking for an upgrade at this point switch games are already expensive enough as it is.

1; yes, we VERY BADLY need an upgrade. The switch is extremely outdated and can no longer run modern AAA games. So unless you never want a third party game again, the Switch literally needs an upgrade.
And 2; The price of games has stayed at $60 for decades and only went up to $70 a few years ago. So what are you even saying? 🤨

@@aaronmathews6932 Lol no, that’s different. The 3DS was a handheld with inferior and less expensive hardware and budgeting sizes for the games. Home console games have ALWAYS been $60. SNES games were usually $50-$60, N64 games were usually $60, GameCube games were $60, Wii games were $60, Wii U games were $60. And some 3DS games were too, for that matter! You have no idea what you’re saying.
The games for the switch successor will be $60-$70. That is the current standard.
Hey so real quick first off you should be a writer if you can type a paragraph that long so easily. Secondly, if the current Nintendo switch is so much better than the 3DS why is it they haven’t been able to release 3DS games such as fire emblem fates, which I have actually called and tried to request for the Nintendo E shop yes I get it. It’s a big company but for fucks sake, I think they would have everything on file and transferring it over would be pretty damn easy look my main point is that I’m just happy with what the Nintendo switch already has available. It’s like when they announce a sequel to your favorite game series. Sure you are excited for the next chapter in the story, but at the same time, the original game kept you satisfied. Listen boy, Nintendo games need to evolve, we can't stick with the same hardware for more years, the next console needs a graphical upgrade of course, can you imagine how a Zelda or Mario game would look like in a PS4 level of power?
What I want to see in the next Direct is Brothership, Legends: Z-A, Echoes of Wisdom and maybe a new entry that isn't a remake or an 8-bit filler. Shut up, you port-beggars. You're NEVER getting Wind Waker/Twilight Princess on the Switch.
