This movie is kind of heartbreaking. The fact that people mistreat Hubie who has some problems is kind of hard to watch. But i really think this movie is showing how cruel people can be towards others who have disabilities or are mentally/emotionally challenged.

In most of Sandler’s movies, the heroes are outsiders who don’t fit in and the more “popular” jocks are the gatekeeping jerks. They are jerks simply because they like to pick on someone different.
