I'm quite out of shape and a car accident a few months back prevents me from really working out at the gym so I've been getting very into yoga the last couple of months. I got halfway through this routine--it kicked my butt! My obliques were so sore the next day but in the best way. I'm so glad I found these videos. I'll definitely be saving them to keep coming back to!
What can I say but excellent. Usually don't pay much mind to western teachers of yoga but so far your on point. I have honestly gained a nice momentum due to your guidance, thanks for your knowledge and efforts.

Tanks for that Ashton, you give very clear instructions and put a great challenge together. Just one thing for me. I have trouble with downward dog. It could be to do with a weak upper vertebrae. I get pins and needles in my hands when I do it. Is child pose a good alternative or plank or what would you recommend? Thanks - Aine

You can sit any way that is comfortable and accessible for you, whether that's kneeling, using a blanket beneath your knees, sitting on a yoga block ... anything you need to do to feel good in the pose, please do! I really loved the video but it felt like you kind of switched from the intro which was full of knowledge and information (I loved that!! Those little circles brought on the HEAT!!!) to later just kind of pushing through more exercised based yoga. An example was in hurdlers pose, you didn’t give much explanation on it or reminder of core engagement through many other postures/movements. It was still a nice class but it kind of switched from the beginning, being prepared for a lot of information in postures to a faster paced power yoga class. 🤷♀️

Hello Maral, while an empty stomach is not necessarily a 'requirement' for your yoga practice, it's not ideal to practice on a full stomach so if you're able to eat and then wait a while before getting on your mat, that's the best approach. Namaste!
