The Neverending Story is my personal favorite movie of all time. 2nd is Labyrinth. Anyway, it is clear that we will never ever have movies like this again. They were so amazing. Real practical effects and puppets were so genuine and magical. Legend is another great one as well.
Yeah, between him and Noah, neither resemble the former selves at all anymore. Would never have expected Barret to have dreadlocks or Noah to be covered in tats (which look like crap IMOO).
I actually think Noah still looks the same in his face. But the actor who played Bastian definitely looks totally different than he did as a kid, not even recognizable as the same person, even without the dreadlocks. But the actress who played the Childlike Empress looks the most like her former self.
Cried when artax died, fell in love with falkor the moment he spoke and I love the end scene where he got those bullies back and the brilliant song the NeverEnding story by Limahl, genius.
I love the Child like Empress, she had such a soft beautiful voice and was so pretty, she really looked and sounded like a magical Empress. She probably could have gone so much father, but who knows, it's always important to follow your dreams and not the dreams of others.
Yes, I read the book before seeing the movie; the book is a lot deeper and more memorable. The original German version was beautifully illustrated in red and green, and had text in alternating colours of red and green to differentiate those parts set in our world from those in the fantasy world.
Tami was the perfect choice for her role. Described as a "childlike" princess, she really did look a bit like and adult in a little girl's body because of her intelligent facial expressions that you might not expect from such a young person (bemused expression when listening to Atrayu tell her mistakenly that he had not found a human child, and looking like a little school teacher while explaining the "facts" regarding the "human child" Bastion's role in bringing Atrayu to her). She really had great acting chops besides being incredibly cute (with a really great makeup job, as well- I think the makeup artist doesn't get enough credit, typically). I hope she's found true happiness in her dancing career.
We watched this every year I was in elementary school. It was our "end of the school year treat," along with an ice cream sundae buffet! Being a child during the 80's was just awesome! So many great memories!! This movie is a classic!!!
In the book, Artax can speak and doesn't come back at the end. Atreyu stays with Falcor. I would recommend you to read it, it's beautiful and the movie is only based on the first half of the book, most of it isn't even included.
I watched it buying a CD randomly from the store ...after watching this movie I was like dreaming.. imagining myself in this adventurous fantasy world...the movie stuck in my head very long.... finally when I started using internet I tried to search and watch the movie again ....but couldn't remember the name so I tried searching "rock eater" movie😂😂😂...and got a picture with movie name mentioned... .😀...now I m 26 still the child inside me brought me here once again to watch this movie again.😀😍
Noah Hathaway is not only families famous for being an actor and tattoo artist. He's also a martial artist. He's got a 3rd degree black belt in both Shotokan Karate and Tang Soo Do, and also studies American Kenpo. Big accomplishments!
It's been years since I watched it, I may have to do it again soon for old times sake. Tami was such a little doll back then, and a beautiful lady now. Glad to see all the younger cast turned out okay instead of turning to the darker side of life.
A beautiful presentation. Thorough, informative - and downright fun ... the gentleman as commentator has good, crisp elocution, pronunciation and seems like somebody who you could shake the hand of and walk away realizing maybe the world can be a good place to live.
I really love the fact you put this together. Do you know I isolated I have felt because every year goes by and majority of the people keep overlooking this generation. This movie was a part in helping me focus on being a Professional Sculptor and I even thought one day I would be working with amazing teams on at least a few productions. :* )
This was one of my top 10 favorite movies when I was a kid! For the longest I couldn't watch the scene where Atraiu walks thru where the "boobie statues" are, and sees the dead knight. Always freaked me out!
Me too. It's still rather intense with the jump scare. Bowser's Castle's laser statues in Mario 3 scared me the same way. Better to start with an invincibility star.
Tami Stronach is still gorgeous and unlike a lot of child actresses, with the guidance of her parents, she decided not to pursue acting full-time. Probably a good decision on her part. That being said, her relatively short part in Neverending Story was unforgettable!😍👍
It's because there is no obvious pronunciation of "Fuchur" in English. And one possible pronunciation is the naughty word "fucker". "Falcor" is obvious, like the bird, but ends in -or, which is a common ending for character names in English language (like Skeletor), along with -ar. Also "u" is the least common vowel in English, and when it does appear, it's very frequently part of a two-vowel sequence, usually "au" or "ou".
Oct 4, 2019 I'm watching Princess Bride right now.. It made me think of Neverending Story. Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.
I loved the never ending story as a child! As an adult this is still to this day one of my favorite films! Im amazed to see the actors as they are today!
NeverEnding delight! This is one of my favorite films - first viewed as a adult - with themes the young and old can relate to. Very best wishes to the talented cast, in and out of Hollywood. The Canadian TV series was also very well done.
HOLY SHIT, thats the kid also playing in D.A.R.Y.L? I loved both movies. I was like 8 years old in those times. This is like hearing Rambo and Rocky are the same person when i was like 10 years old LOL
So glad everyone's had good careers and lives after this one movie in time. We get so used to hearing about the tragedies in show biz it's nice to see everyone ended up going their way in a mostly normal fashion. On a side note, as an 80s kid I can't believe I never recognized Falcor and Warpath had the same VA, lmao...
hmmmmm. There is an interesting story line and a lot of interesting characters in the never ending story. There are some great characters in Harry Potter and some that I would really enjoy seeing more of their life or reading about it. Madeye Moody would be fun to watch some movies about his life story chasing dark wizards. Snapes story as it unfolded as him being a triple agent along with the motivations of Voldemort to hate muggles and half bloods were very WWII and post WWII cold war style spie/ war like. By itself as a single movie the Never Ending Story is great but Harry Potter is going to end up like the Star Wars Universe with some of its best works and lore yet to be written yet. It will continue to grow for decades to come well the Never Ending Story was pretty much 1 and done.
well, start with yourself. how is a fine kids' movie a sale and promotion of witchcraft? and how is it that you got nothing better to be concerned about, at the start of 21st century?
well, do you have PROOF that there is any witchcraft or for that matter, anything harmful in this movie? after all, not all magic is witchcraft, and not all supernatural stuff id even magic. if you're a religious person i presume you are, you must believe in miracles, after all
So many roles I recognize. It's really funny how you never notice how many of your favourite moments have been influenced or created by actors that aren't playing the big shot roles, really. I, for one, am grateful for those moments, even if the people working them never see any of the hugely coveted rewards.
Wow! Tami Stronach really did blossom into an angel. One factor about Deep Roy that is often ignored is that he was the assassin in the Robin Hood costume in "The Pink Panther Strikes Again."
Fun fact: "The Neverending Story" was written by the german author Michael Ende and filmed in Germany near Munich, in the Bavaria Filmstudios at Geiselgasteig.
I'd hoped you'd include the later movies too, there harder to find but someone said Jack Black was in one. As a kid seeing it he didn't stand out, not something you could say about his later movies. Still fun to see him change.
Hey Looper, did you notice that Falkor's eyes were (evidently) designed after the the voice actor that did its voice, Alan Oppenheimer! For decades I wondered how they invented those wonderfully expressive puppy-dog eyes on Falkor, but now with this video, I finally put it together! Great narration.
Alan Oppenheimer was also the voices of Mr. Tawny, Uncle Dudley, and Sivana in Filmation's animated "SHAZAM!" series, and Norman Burg in the second season of "The Big O."
I watched this movie for the first time when I was 9 years old but I am 11 now and I didn't expect the actors to look like that!! Tami Stronach is still really pretty and she is a great dancer, I have seen some of her dancing on youtube
Got scared of thinking about the "Neverending" part after all the crap he'd been through already, and said "Screw it! Peace out!" and ended his part of the Neverending... He died drowning in a nothingness swamp.
If they were to remake it, it would look nothing like the movie. Leonardo Di Caprio's company, Appian Way, was part of a group trying to remake this movie to look more like the original novel. The author hated this movie so much, he demanded his name be removed from the credits. The movie is much darker and is only halfway finished where the movie ends. Sadly (or thankfully, depending on how you see it), securing the rights to the story may keep this from ever being remade.
Good on you for mentioning Deep Roy's "Mr Sin" from 1970's Doctor Who - one of the lesser known characters, that I found quite frightening as a child - not helped by the Doctor's unnerving account of Mr Sin's backstory.
I have all three of the "Never Ending Story" movies, but the first one is still my fave. I just love Falcor and it would be a total blast to ride with him.
The second was crap and the rest were not even related to the book at all. At least the second film tried to use the second chapter of the fantastic novel, but screwed it all up by just taking selected segments and jumbling them all up instead of following a consistent flow. Plus the whole added diving fear business was totally unneeded.
The Swamps Of Sadness scene got to me. It made me think that The Swamps Of Sadness is a metaphor for any messed up situation we have to live through in our lives. We can’t let these Swamps get to us too bad like Artex did, he let them overtake him. We all have a Swamp Of Sadness we have to traverse in our own lives, I have been in the ‘Swamp’ I’m in for years now, who will be my Falcore.
It's crazy how the dead knight scene freaked us all out as kids yet kids today watch some of the most gruesome shit. And I still cry through the Artex scene and get goosebumps the rest of the movie!
That horse in the swamp scene....I wasn't prepared for that at that age. The feels...
I cried terribly, this was way too harsh.
I still get a wet face at 38 :)
Yup.... Scarred for life....
+Brad Whitehead ????
I've been watching this movie since I was a baby, that scene still makes my cry.
The Empress' eyes... Those eyes are still the same after all these years. So pretty!
And wow! Skeletor is Falkor?!
Yes. All these years I thought his voice was psychically created to sound like all children's least favourite school teacher - I was wrong.
Yea that was an atom bomb
Larry Wolf Alan Oppenheimer also provided the voice of Merlin in the cartoon series "Prince Valiant"
The Neverending Story is my personal favorite movie of all time. 2nd is Labyrinth. Anyway, it is clear that we will never ever have movies like this again. They were so amazing. Real practical effects and puppets were so genuine and magical. Legend is another great one as well.
KillSwitchNY oh my gosh same
I absolutely love labyrinth, even though I'm 43 its still a childhood memory.
Same / Ditto
Mine is The Labyrinth, Neverending Story then The Princess Bride.
I'm shocked. Not one cast member descended into drugs and alcohol. Good for them!
Because nost of them quit and went back to being kids.
Just depression. Sadly the kid in the second killed himself.
Just tatoos, pretty close
Because most of them didn't stick around in Hollywood.
because they were not raped and sodomized by the director or producers unlike other child stars
I totally wasn't expecting the giant beard and dreads on Bastian's actor.
Yeah, between him and Noah, neither resemble the former selves at all anymore. Would never have expected Barret to have dreadlocks or Noah to be covered in tats (which look like crap IMOO).
yes...
How about the mafia tattoos?
I actually think Noah still looks the same in his face. But the actor who played Bastian definitely looks totally different than he did as a kid, not even recognizable as the same person, even without the dreadlocks. But the actress who played the Childlike Empress looks the most like her former self.
The Twin Files the recluse hipster look?
i usually don't like alot of Loopers content, but quite enjoyed this one. Well put together and spoken.
Cried when artax died, fell in love with falkor the moment he spoke and I love the end scene where he got those bullies back and the brilliant song the NeverEnding story by Limahl, genius.
Sian Murray Lol! I always thought falkor was a flying shaggy dog. Even though in the movie he says he’s a luck dragon. 😜
@@ROMANEMPIRE69 I think he's a bit of both but definitely a dragon
I love the Child like Empress, she had such a soft beautiful voice and was so pretty, she really looked and sounded like a magical Empress. She probably could have gone so much father, but who knows, it's always important to follow your dreams and not the dreams of others.
Tony Lopez when she cried at the end asking for Bastian to save her and her people you felt her pain and plight, for her plea to be heard
Thankful to these men and women for giving me a joyful childhood!
I'm thankful for the acting, because they could bombed the movie, but I'm more thankful for the writers.
Soji SideQuest I still have nightmares about this horse ;(
riding horses is fun, my wife was a barrell racer
Soji SideQuest I loved this movie as a kid but I always thought I was the only person who liked it
Don't forget, The Neverending Story was actually a book before being adapted for the movie. Published first in Germany, you won't regret reading it!
it´s not only a german book, the film is also german.
Can confirm. Read it when I was 10 or 11 and have great memories.
The author of the book, Michael Ende, hated the movie, and even tried to sue them to have the title changed.
Yes, I read the book before seeing the movie; the book is a lot deeper and more memorable. The original German version was beautifully illustrated in red and green, and had text in alternating colours of red and green to differentiate those parts set in our world from those in the fantasy world.
The fuck guys I wanted to see what that fluffy ass flying dragon thing looks like now.
i.imgur.com/HTZzk3B.jpg It's... umm... not pretty.
***** HAHAHAHA FUCKING HELL MAN I didnt expect that! Thanks for the laugh!
Meth, not even once.
Be careful what you wish for! Puppets don't age well.
Fuchur (Falkor?) was (is?) in the "Bavaria Filmstudios in Munich - you could touch him and sit on him and he looks like 20years of Meth....
Eww, I bet you're into "beauty pageants".
We watched this every year I was in elementary school. It was our "end of the school year treat," along with an ice cream sundae buffet! Being a child during the 80's was just awesome! So many great memories!! This movie is a classic!!!
I loved this movie as a kid! I had a crush on Atreyu.
I had a terrible crush for the sphinxes. Don't ask why. I still meet them in my dreams.
He was what I wanted to be.
Luv Luna Me, too!!
There was something about the sentinels that I loved also, just that foreboding thought when you knew their eyes were about to light up.
Rob Fraser You should write poems
That moment when you realize Falcor is Skeletor...
LOL!!!
bendundidit or even the moment you realize that Boxey from the 1978 version of Battlestar Galactica is Atreyu
Huh, who knew?
Falkor. Falkor. It's spelled with a K, not C.
& Prime Evil, from Filmation's Ghostbusters... 'Krrrrrk'
Admit it, we all came here to see what the Childlike Empress looks like.
I came here to see what Falcor looks like and they didn't even show him.
you still would! !! :)
Would have back then when I was about the same age and would now also. Empress of fine
She was very attractive when I was a kid. I think it was because the combination of youth and authority.
...and sadness. Hard not to fall for sad girls.:P
when Artax Died i cried my Eyes out, still to this day i can't watch that scene, AWESOME film
tim whitten I used to watch this film over and over, 💕 I cried again when he came back😂
tim whitten yeah i need to track this down on dvd, :)
In the book, Artax can speak and doesn't come back at the end.
Atreyu stays with Falcor.
I would recommend you to read it, it's beautiful and the movie is only based on the first half of the book, most of it isn't even included.
the guy that wrote the book was pissed at the movie because it was to different.
Still gets me teary-eyed too
I watched it buying a CD randomly from the store ...after watching this movie I was like dreaming.. imagining myself in this adventurous fantasy world...the movie stuck in my head very long.... finally when I started using internet I tried to search and watch the movie again ....but couldn't remember the name so I tried searching "rock eater" movie😂😂😂...and got a picture with movie name mentioned...
.😀...now I m 26 still the child inside me brought me here once again to watch this movie again.😀😍
Completely forgot how much the wolf dude terrified me as a kid. Thanks for bringing THAT up...
Noah Hathaway is not only families famous for being an actor and tattoo artist. He's also a martial artist. He's got a 3rd degree black belt in both Shotokan Karate and Tang Soo Do, and also studies American Kenpo. Big accomplishments!
Oh I loved this movie growing up, one of my all time favs!! Easily in my top 5 along with The Dark Crystal, and Labrynth!
1. Princess Bride
2. Labrynth
3. Never Ending Story
4. The Last Starfighter
5. The Dark Crystal
I remember when I was a kid way back when. I use to rent the VHS from my local video rental store, I think I rented it over 20 times lol
That wolf still legitimately scares the crap out of me.
Same. Every time there was a jumpscare involving him, it scared the heck out of me, even when I was re-watching it
That wolf scared my cousin so bad her parents gave the movie to us 😁
I had the biggest crush on that queen girl when I was little hahah.
Empress, not Queen.
Same here.
Energy Man me to
Indeed. She was probably "jailbait" back in the day, but as a horny teen it didn't matter.
Energy Man You and me both my homie.
It's been years since I watched it, I may have to do it again soon for old times sake. Tami was such a little doll back then, and a beautiful lady now. Glad to see all the younger cast turned out okay instead of turning to the darker side of life.
It's nice when the cast winds up having decent lives. Not turning into drug addicts and the like
Such a lovely movie :) Thanks for the update on the cast
Nicholas Dickens The movie kinda scared me when I watched it as a kid. It was because it was so weird
best movie ever for kids.
Donna Mayberry What about the Dark Crystal?
A close 2nd, maybe.
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory i think.
I had no idea that the actor who voiced Falcor had so many credits from so many things I would watch as a kid. It was interesting to learn of this
I especially remember the theme song, “Never Ending Story” by Limahl
😍
A beautiful presentation. Thorough, informative - and downright fun ... the gentleman as commentator has good, crisp elocution, pronunciation and seems like somebody who you could shake the hand of and walk away realizing maybe the world can be a good place to live.
this was my favorite movie growing up
Mine to
Bradley Burdett and the goonies and Rigoletto
This was my favorite movie as a kid. I have it on DVD. So I can still watch it anytime. I have both films.
Miss lady? Same i love it still
This presentation was done so professionally. Thanks so much, I loved it.
Thanks so much for the nice trip down memory lane! --Tami (@neverendingTami)
I so loved Tami back then...
Thanks for the nostalgia! This movie added to the imagination of kids all around. That Artax scene though........never again.
💜!
The nostalgia is strong.
You still look the same!
I loved The NeverEnding Story!! One of my faves from childhood!
I really love the fact you put this together. Do you know I isolated I have felt because every year goes by and majority of the people keep overlooking this generation. This movie was a part in helping me focus on being a Professional Sculptor and I even thought one day I would be working with amazing teams on at least a few productions. :* )
One of my favorite of all time. Still watch it. Thanks for posting!
Same. This movie back-to-back marathon with David Bowie's Labyrinth and Jim Henson's The Dark Crystal movies :P
No Legend? You get to see what Tom Cruise's real face looked like!
+Austinniya Wells YESSS!
+Rob Fraser And Yes. lol
You had my like at Neverending.
LOL!!! "boobie statues" ??? I LIKE your Name for them! :D
there were no boobie statues in neverending II, and that's why it sucked.
Tami Stronach is still gorgeous and unlike a lot of child actresses, with the guidance of her parents, she decided not to pursue acting full-time. Probably a good decision on her part. That being said, her relatively short part in Neverending Story was unforgettable!😍👍
We had a video of this when I was kid. I used to watch this when I was a kid. I so miss this.
Falcor = Skeletor? That's a fun bit of trivia.
If you're frustrated by something this small, I feel bad for ya. Truly.
This was a pleasant trip down memory lane. Thanks for posting this.
this was a treat,thx 4 this vid😃
The Never Ending Story is one of my favorite movies. It's hard to believe that it came out in 1984. Thanks for the update on the cast.
Alan Oppenheimer is best known as Skeletor from He-man and the masters of the Universe
I remember this film as a kid.
It was the best. Such a fun adventure.
That and the Goonies along with Indiana Jones.
..and the labrynth
..and The Dark Crystal
NeverEnding delight! This is one of my favorite films - first viewed as a adult - with themes the young and old can relate to. Very best wishes to the talented cast, in and out of Hollywood. The Canadian TV series was also very well done.
As a kid I cried my eyes out when artax sank in the swamp
HOLY SHIT, thats the kid also playing in D.A.R.Y.L? I loved both movies. I was like 8 years old in those times. This is like hearing Rambo and Rocky are the same person when i was like 10 years old LOL
As a kid I had the biggest crush on Atreyou, lol
***** lol, don't worry...I am a female!!
Who cares ;-)
Benjamin Miles are you gay?
I crushed on him in Battlestar Galactica. I'd still like to meet him.
I was on a date when I saw this movie in the theater. It was love and magic all tangled up.
That's the cutest comment.
Alot this movie was filmed in Vancouver Canada, only the fantasy segments where filmed in germany
I believe with all my conviction that this film is infinitely better than harry potter.
easy comparison really.
Just to tie this together, Noah Hathaway's character name in the movie Troll? Harry Potter...
So many roles I recognize. It's really funny how you never notice how many of your favourite moments have been influenced or created by actors that aren't playing the big shot roles, really.
I, for one, am grateful for those moments, even if the people working them never see any of the hugely coveted rewards.
best fantasy kids movie ever!
Wow! Tami Stronach really did blossom into an angel. One factor about Deep Roy that is often ignored is that he was the assassin in the Robin Hood costume in "The Pink Panther Strikes Again."
"finance and tattoo artistry" - classic combination.
Thank you for the update! I love dance & Tamara (Tami) Stronach is someone I can look into. 😀
This was actually interesting.
Fun fact: "The Neverending Story" was written by the german author Michael Ende and filmed in Germany near Munich, in the Bavaria Filmstudios at Geiselgasteig.
Not funny...
Ugh Bastian??!! What happened to you... he used to be so cute lol
I'd hoped you'd include the later movies too, there harder to find but someone said Jack Black was in one. As a kid seeing it he didn't stand out, not something you could say about his later movies. Still fun to see him change.
G'mork scared me when I was little.
gmork words ring true today...people who have no hope are easy to control.
LoL You're not the Only one. :)
Gmork appeared in many of my nightmares growing up and even now at 36 has me spooked of the dark
Nostalgia is so good and yet so addictive!
I watched this movie with my grandma and when the horse died he told me he could dig tunnels and I believed it keep in mind I was like six
Gerald McRaney was also in one of my favorite TV shows, Longmire.
I loved that movie!
Yes me too, I watched it over and over.
i still do, haha
Hey Looper, did you notice that Falkor's eyes were (evidently) designed after the the voice actor that did its voice, Alan Oppenheimer! For decades I wondered how they invented those wonderfully expressive puppy-dog eyes on Falkor, but now with this video, I finally put it together!
Great narration.
I just want to know what the Rockbiter is up to nowadays.
Last I heard, he spends all his time getting stoned, and his career has slowly eroded away.
Secret Treasure Path - That rocks.
quite gritty.
Alan Oppenheimer was also the voices of Mr. Tawny, Uncle Dudley, and Sivana in Filmation's animated "SHAZAM!" series, and Norman Burg in the second season of "The Big O."
The empress looks similar still, while all the guys look nothing like their younger selves. Ageing sucks.
It's not so much aging, but they've just become completely different people.
This was my absolute favourite film as a kid!
holy shit, is the narrator guy from "all yourhistory are belong to us"?
It's me. :)
I watched this movie for the first time when I was 9 years old but I am 11 now and I didn't expect the actors to look like that!!
Tami Stronach is still really pretty and she is a great dancer, I have seen some of her dancing on youtube
Wait, where's Artax at? What's he look like now?
The horse died while shooting the death scene....it was an accident...
It was a suicide.
he just let the sadness overtake him and, well... he will be missed. RIP Artax
Got scared of thinking about the "Neverending" part after all the crap he'd been through already, and said "Screw it! Peace out!" and ended his part of the Neverending... He died drowning in a nothingness swamp.
He sunk without trace until he fought The Nothing and came back. He is currently being trained up for the 2018 Epsom Derby.
The part when the horse was sinking in the mud made me cry when I watched it😂😂
What other classic film casts do you wonder about?
Looper fight me
Looper y u delete my comment
Looper The Breakfast Club :)
Krull!
the (first) crow supporting cast
comprehensive and well researched. congratulations
I would love to see a NEVERENDING STORY remake by Peter Jackson or Guillermo Del Torro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NO, why do that to such a timeless classic.
Mike Dobinson remakes are starting to get old
Do not remake this classic!!!
+The Video Experience
If they remade it they would CG all the creatures even Falcor
If they were to remake it, it would look nothing like the movie. Leonardo Di Caprio's company, Appian Way, was part of a group trying to remake this movie to look more like the original novel. The author hated this movie so much, he demanded his name be removed from the credits. The movie is much darker and is only halfway finished where the movie ends. One of my favorite childhood movies.
member berries anyone?
member falcor... yeah yeah and member rock biter...
Oh... I Member! :D
oh...member Steinbeiser....i member...and member Morla!
member Ronald regan?!
Ronald Reagan... the actor?!
I member! :D
My son watched the film out of the vhs tape on this movie. Nostalgia made me watch it the other night.
Those dreads were too glorious.

Good on you for mentioning Deep Roy's "Mr Sin" from 1970's Doctor Who - one of the lesser known characters, that I found quite frightening as a child - not helped by the Doctor's unnerving account of Mr Sin's backstory.
4:48 Did you seriously just mistake *He-Man* for *Skeletor*?!
*UNFORGIVABLE!*
You're not being offensive enough. Try a little harder, will you?
Great video! Man, Bastian got some dreads! Lol. And the Childlike Empress still looks so young!!!
Anyone here from Stranger Things season 3?
No people are here from the movie
I have all three of the "Never Ending Story" movies, but the first one is still my fave. I just love Falcor and it would be a total blast to ride with him.
The 3rd instalment really sucked big time
They killed the Franchise!
The second was crap and the rest were not even related to the book at all. At least the second film tried to use the second chapter of the fantastic novel, but screwed it all up by just taking selected segments and jumbling them all up instead of following a consistent flow. Plus the whole added diving fear business was totally unneeded.
the story is nowhere near the book too
The Swamps Of Sadness scene got to me.
I will (:
What is with those hideous tattoos?
Alan Oppenheimer is by far the most amazing here, having a million voices just like Mel Blanc.
Why can't atheists define atheism?

Atheism is the lack of belief in a god. It's not hard to figure out.

this is quite informative and helps the movie's appreciation
It's crazy how the dead knight scene freaked us all out as kids yet kids today watch some of the most gruesome shit. And I still cry through the Artex scene and get goosebumps the rest of the movie!
Alan Oppenheimer was also in the Six Million Dollar man in the 1970's, playing Dr Rudy Wells. The role was also given to Martin Balsam.
This was fun, thanks! One of my childhood faves ;)
