If overseas entrepreneurs / visitors are willing to experience and explore the local culture more often, they will eventually establish a comprehensive and objective view of China. Thanks Andy for your great job.
Andy, your videos are always so exquisitely made, shows the effort you put into your work - not only showing the 'surface' of a place, but also the history and culture. I can feel your respect to the places you visit, thank you for that. Hope you reach 1 million subscribers, haha
4:05 I learned by chance about the incident from a randomly recommended video. It was this clip of a very up close capture of the explosion which uploaded to YT with inappropriate title (the uploader kinda wanted to meme out of it but was oblivious of the incident). Wow, I didn't know they've completely transformed it into a large public park😲 Wise and clever decision made by the government😊
Thanks for introducing the "other" Chinese cities. Being an overseas born Chinese, I have only visited Beijing once and is fascinated by the city and the sights . I would love to visit some of these other Chinese cities sometime in the future, when the opportunity arises.
Thanks for watching and commenting - I’m sure you’ll get the chance to visit again real soon! The next video will be up in the next few days, I hope you like it. 😁
Tianjin is a charming city with mixed cultures of east and west. I used to have frequent business trips there seven years ago and remembered the air quality was not so good back then. But I heard it has improved a lot over last few years
My wife is actually from Tianjin and she's always singing its praise. I was there during the Spring Festival in 2014. I'll be perfectly honest, it was intimidating at first but I really enjoyed my time there.
@@ReportsOnChina but the latest one on qingdao. The reminder for the live event did appear.. maybe it's because of the all subscription bell button was not set earlier.
just came back from Tianjin to visit family. I like the city, there's not much people, compared to other cities. I'm an introvert, so prefer the less people the better. Beautiful place
Hi Ingrid! The first time I lived in China was nearly ten years ago, and after that I went back to NZ for a bit. This time I’ve been living here about six or seven years - I forget!
The only ancient Chinese culture exists in Taiwan. All the stuff you see in China was brought back after the CCP realized that they destroyed the culture in China.

First step: learning Mandarin! 😂
An educational documentary with real facts. Many thanks, Andy.
Thanks for watching, Donald.
Been to Tianjin years ago, glad to see that it develops to such modern city now, thank you Andy.
Like the way you presented a city and explain a bit of culture behind it. Look forward to the next series.

Great video with nice editing!
Really nice piece. Becoming a huge fan of this channel. But it's weird that this did not pop up on my feed. Had to go check on the channel itself.
That’s worrying… it seems most people aren’t seeing my content when I post. :(

Hi Andy, what do you think about the foreigners in China that do not learn Chinese?
I better not say here… hahaha
What happened to the video with the man feeding the cats of Shanghai?
I removed it from UA-cam because of an issue with the music. It’s available still on my Chinese platforms. ;)
I'm considering a semester exchange at Tianjin university for urban planning :)

You didn't try the most famous bun "even dogs won't eat"
Actually I found out that Tianjin locals don’t eat 狗不理包子,it’s actually just something tourists eat when they come to Tianjin. 😂
