    Garry Kasparov was known as a chess player with virtually no weaknesses. His games are characterised by a dynamic style of play with a focus on tactics, depth of strategy, subtle calculation and original opening ideas.     I am an avid sicilian player... I play the sicilian and lose 66% of the time... My win percentage is 33% or less and I realize that I've been looking at all the wrong grandmasters for the sicilian defence... Gary Kasparov is the man to follow... Thanks Sammy this was THE singularly MOST instructive video for my game...

    Always looking forward to every upload! These games ars great to learn concepts of openings. As white, I personally play the Kings Gambit, and as black I play the KID against d4, but might start to learn the sicilian for e4 so thank you 😁

    Man, open sicilian is awesome. That Shirov game was sharp as hell, one tempo from disaster. BTW, Both Shirov and Polgar sacrificed a piece for two pawns... is that "thematic" or something?

    Can someone explain how 3:19 ...e5 allows black knight to dominate the white bishop? I only see Nd7, then Nb6 after moving queen away but that loses so much tempo and allows white to activate rooks and break the pawn chain with flank pawns. Also, 4:24 is Re1 not a good move?

      I do believe that Fischer in his Prime with today's computer learning would have him Tops He Said that chess is
      " Solvable" because he knew what computers will eventually do.

      i don't think so. why? because back then the competition was weaker and magnus had access to modern computers which is really advantageous. even kasparov himself admits magnus is stronger than he is.
