You know nothing about the technology as you confess and you don't have decades of leadership experience. How did you qualify to become CEO? Genuinely interested!
Hi Csaba - thanks for the question. To the first point - I hold a PhD in Quantum Physics and have a deep understanding of the technology. I'm sometimes a little too humble! Prior to becoming CEO of OQC, I had fully embraced entrepreneurship and start-ups and had a few years of experience as COO in another deep tech spin-out. At the time, I was one of the few people in the world with both a PhD in quantum, as well as entrepreneurial experience and emotional intelligence. It appears that makes me pretty well qualified for the job ;). From here, I have continued to adopt a growth mindset and over the past 5+ years in the role have continued to grow personally faster than the company. To that point, I don't believe that experience is everything here. Leadership is primarily an act of vision, values and emotional intelligence. Hope that helps answer your curiosity!
@@ilanawisby2737 Thank you for your reply, it seems that I have massively underestimated you. Apologies for my fail. I'm just not used to seeing the millennial style at C level yet. Better learn quick.
