Thanks. If you listen to say the live bonus track on the Tough it Out Album you'll hear a second or third electric guitar during the verses playing relatively simple chords or intervals. I don't know who used to play that considering I don't think Chris Overland even toured with FM...but it really made a difference in how the song sounded. Wish I could catch them here in Connecticut but doubt that'll happen any time soon. Cheers.
I think Chris did tour prior to leaving in 1990....I first saw them in 1989 on the Tough It Out Tour, and I believe he was on stage with them. I'll have to have a close listen to that live version, although my ears aren't what they used to be.
@@RiksVids ok thanks a lot. Maybe he just didn't like being on music videos. if you watch the Frozen Heart video called Frozen Heart (1986) you'll see a dark haired guitarist playing Chris's part. But I think he was blonde so unless he dyed his hair they possibly had another guitarist just for that video. Lucky you saw them in 89. Take care.

I've been fortunate enough to see them 14 times.
