“I would recommend going back a hundred videos and watching them all until you find it”. Lol
Jonathan Schwartz I laughed too hard when he said that...alright here I go, hopefully I won’t lose my farmers tan watching them all...
It probably sounds weird too some people but this channel has been really good for my Anxiety and Depression lately. This channel is the best, thank you for all you do good sir.
lol i understand what you mean not in the way it cures or makes my day but in a certain way i look forward to something
im in the same boat, well said
Whoa. That sounds like too much pressure!! Lol, glad you enjoy, thanks!
No pressure at all you just keep being you.
normally i watch and play racing games but watching his videos are very relaxing and cool and i totally understand ur depression and anxiety thing
Every day when my three year old gets home from daycare he asks if there is a new tractor video. He can’t get enough. He even asked to dress as a John Deere tractor for Halloween. Keep up the great content.
Nice shout out to the welker family!!!! God bless family's in agriculture.
That looks like a lot of work
Notice how well that red blower works lol.. That wild corn stalk is where you dropped a viagra back during planting time...
Lmao 😂 😂
This is the obvious answer! Why didn't I think of that?!
Make a joke? about a nuclear mutation .....you Wonder where cancer comes from...... The largest media cover-up ever nuclear fallout from Japan has never stop plug in your brain
@@FixItStupid No. Pretty sure it's from a boner pill.
I think it was the women's restroom, i een the mens restroom too the right
I recommend going back a hundred videos and watching them through till you find the video LOL LOL
I got out of farming 20 years ago because not enough land to support a family (150 acres) and took a full time job. Your videos sure bring a smile to me and seeing the supersized equipment is great.
Planting with a two cylinder John Deere A and combining with a two row corn head on a John Deere 55 combine was still fun
So to those who don’t think that them GMO crops are dangerous here’s a little story there is This company called Jack Daniels and they use gmo corn and their drink caused me to blackout, and have dizziness and liver failure be careful with those GMO crops
Zack The Alien Now that’s funny!
Lmao
Best comment ever
I'm alergict to the damn stuff, after the first bottle or halfway through the seccond i get the same symtoms, maybe your alergict too. 😅😅😅😉
I've never considered that. The same exact thing happens to me. I just assumed it was normal to wake up naked in a road ditch?
Bro we need to get you hooked up with a proper soybeandust blower! :)
Maybe the corn plant was getting fertilized by last year's restroom?
Out here in NW MN combining sunflowers and the same thing has been bugging me for awhile. I think I finally cracked the case!
Dangit! That's obvious!
Man you get a great laugh from me "everyday I'm shoveling" please add more humor 😂😂😂😂
Mee to xD
I skipped back to it for like 6 times xD
@@till1308 same!!
I bursted out laughing 😂
Shoveling grain and cleaning windows builds character.
So what was the name of that grease gun again, and I bet you can't say it ten times fast.
I watch Welker farmers. I had an uncle who was a farmer his son has the farm now. I would spend some of my summer's working on his farm and loved it. I wanted to be a farmer but it was way too expensive to buy land for farming, my dad was a carpenter and mom a nurse so no farm to pass down. It wasn't until I was a police officer for twenty years that I was able to buy my two hundred acres from a farmer that was retiring. He sold it to me for a very low price because I was willing to sign a contract stating the land would never be sold into development. I have since had the land put into the Ohio heritage program which means it can only be used for agricultural in it's perpetuity.
Brian Hubbard That’s cool. I wish more would do that instead of selling off.
LUMAX 400 greaSe gun
You can buy 1 on amazon for $111. Lol
good job giving NIck Welkers the congratulations on reaching 100K . sometimes I wonder how would I clean soybeans dust off my combine without my Stihl leaf blower.
I can't understand the minority of viewers giving MN a thumbs down .... #forpetessake this is excellent stuff !!
lots of lubrication products...... sounds good to me
Good sportsmanship to point out Welker farms my favorite channel. But i like your channel also He shoud come drive JD and you shoud drive a Big Bud.
That would be cool!
Nothing runs like a Deere.
You both should drive a Valtra
Nice acnowledment of welker farm. You bouth have prestine content but quite different climate and operation. Love you bouth!
Be careful with those GMO crops... we had what some people call an "elk" spotted in central Kansas. But we all know it's a genetically modified super deer from eating all those GMO crops.
we had genetically modified super turtles from farm tile run off. All 4 banded together with their mutated rat sensei to fight crime a few towns over.
In the Panhandle we have antelope that seem to graze in herds . They seem to like crops that were sprayed with Roundup so maybe they will get cancer. We can't control them because it is jail time for someone protecting crops.
The GMO fed white tails in Indiana are delicious!
@@robertreznik9330 You cannot deal with them for damage control? In PA farmers are allowed to. Just have to contact game commission after.
Captian, We can get a limited permit but it has to specify the location and they roam a lot in herds . There is not a season to reduce numbers. Few would utilize the meat because of it's odor.
There’s just something romantic about being in the field at night. Growing up on a Wisconsin dairy farm I loved working in the fields at night, didn’t matter whether it was harrowing or plowing … loved it!
the original corn plant was called teosinte. thousands of years of hybrid crossing by the indigenous people of central Mexico produced Corn. Once in a couple of million plants you get a throw back to the original plant. My guess
Nice shot of the straight rows all corn standing and the moon in the sky! And , yup Nick and the Welkers hit 100K and posted a great celebration video.
All JD Green in the fields today!!
Thanks for the Tuesday video!!
Now that you're back on corn I was kind of disappointed that there was no bathroom reference in a cornfield
Hi you make me happy when watching you
You remind me of Matt from Demolition Ranch. I'm pretty sure that's why I really enjoy your videos!
Im harvesting corn in farming simulator as I watch this video, but unfortunately im using a case combine.
How many bushels do you guys lose a year due to all the spill overs at the bin and combine?
That is called deer bait
Coming to a end soon for harvest
Return of the Challenger!! Hint hint
Nice of you to congratulate him y’all should meet up sometime
That would be cool!
Glad to see you giving a shout out to the welkers I think you need to take a vacation to montana and drive some of the buds you might end up going white instead of green
Seriously, next year if you need a grain cart operator, or tillage operator, I am willing to come up there!
Same me too
Im thinking of starting my own farm
He has a 100 videos. No kidding
Thanx loving the first 99 from the left coast near the Krapitol of California
I thought that oats dust was the worst. I would button up the collar and wear long sleeve shirt.
Rough awned barley is the worst!
Thanks 🙏 for giving a shout out to nick at welker farms...
From my experience as long as the LED lights have a ground, they should work without any real issues.
At least that is what has been my experience installing LED lights on different types of vehicles. Including big John Deere combines.
I can confirm that going back 100 videos and watching all of them, decently explains how to switch from soybeans to corn :)
Pro tip.... we use another 3ft shop Vac extension on our leaf lower when its time to blow out the hay baler and other equipment. Works great at not covering yourself in dust
Great tip...I've seen people put on PVC extensions to the leaf blower too. Gets you further from the dust
@@LAWSON08 Yeah or a piece of rubber hose whatever you have lying around. It doesn't have to cost anything you'll only use it a couple times a year anyway.
Nick should come visit and harvest some corn.
that big plant is their leader - u successfully killed him - the war is alomst won
LED lights are great I’m surprised you haven’t converted everything a while ago! Great vid #WorldsOkayestFarmer
Hey zach, just wondering If You got about 20 full corn stocks laying around I need them for Halloween Decorations
i sure like when that augur is over flowing with corn, thru the window. is that about a 250 bushel to acre shot/
When cleaning the bottoms of the grain bins, why not use a snow scraper shovel to push the remaining grain towards the auger rather than moving it one shovel full at a time kicking up a lot of dust?
Art M One thing to consider is the floor is perforated with small indentions sticking up. The bins I’ve been around if you tilt the shovel too much it digs in and stops you. You have to keep it almost parallel to the floor. So snow shovel would be hard to use I think. 🤷♂️
an awesome video once again watched your funny moments video earlier about died laughing thank you
Man, who knew lubrication was so helpful in making UA-cam videos!
You still got 38k on welker good job
I have also been guilty of leaving a trap door open.everyone will do this if they do enough hauling.
Agreed...
and it always happens with $12 beans. never with $2 corn
Please make vids longer
I love ur content and i want to watch for longer
Just watch them twice like I do.
Ya but would u not like more cotent instead of watching it again
I had one of those four foot taller plants with four ears on it! Real ears not baby ears. I have pics
We finished corn in Macedonia! love your videos, keep up the good work.
Zack, just imagine how awful the bean dust was to combine beans before cabs were invented on combines. I remember my Dad coming home at night and all you could see was the whites of his eyes and a circle around his eyes that was protected by the goggles he wore. He was running an open station JD55 combine then. Circa 1965.
At least you have better privacy in the corn again, unlike the soyabean
Should check out welker farms 100k video
Done, it was well done!
Love the comments!! Especially about Jack Daniels and the boner pill!!! 100 vids too!! Just got back from a mission trip at the UMCOR Warehouse in Baldwin, La! We confirmed 2,140 cleaning buckets in 3 1/2 days and the big part was counting, rolling and binding 24 bags per!! 51,360!! Fun fun!!
Hey, MN Millennial Farmer, Good idea by using leaf blower for soybean dust removal, etc. I suspect you also use blower around cab and window areas between window cleaning, California Duster on windows between cleaning also works well. Conservative models are much more efficient. Excellent/ Informative videos.
Reply to Brad not Landa
For dust I really like my Miller LPR-100 mask. Light, fits under my welding mask, and that means low profile which makes it easier to see, to wear safety goggles, not give you a headache...
It's funny to say I ran across your Channel in pursuit of better ways to farm in Farming Simulator. Saw the flashy Challenger you were sporting this harvest and now I'm I have been watching every day. I watch you more then Netflix! Also from the sound over the radio, someone might like the Challenger over the John Deer ;)
LED question for Zach: At first I wondered why JD would not use LEDs from the start. Then I remembered reading something about color temperature - a more yellow light cuts through fog better than a more white light. The LEDs are much more white in color. Could it be that the factory lights cut through field dust better?
I feel your pain. I spent a summer working for a grain elevator AND HATED grain dust after that summer. Was even diagnosed with walking pneumonia because of it
Wouldn’t you think the tall 🌽 is a genetic throw back from its near “original” corn.( similar to finding a black soybean) Corn when I was a kid was a lot taller than today’s variety or possibly a few kernels of silage corn got mixed in.
Have you ever detassled seed corn? A small number of "male" rows are planted in between a large number of "female" rows of corn in a alternating pattern across the half mile rows in Iowa. As the corn matures a mower that rides approximately 5-6 feet off the ground cutting the tassles off the female corn after which busloads of high school kids go through the fields removing any partial tassles that contain any partial pollen bearing stalks. The male rows pollenate the female rows and produce hybrid seed corn. The wild stalks are probably individual seeds produced from a bit of the "female" tassle dropping a grain of pollen on a single hair on the stalk leading down to the cob and imbred fertilizing that kernal
I have been using Rain-X 2 in 1 window cleaner. And then I carry a California Car Duster in the cab. The dust wipes right off and you have a super clean window again. You will never go back to another window cleaner again.
Be careful cause those 12v grease guns can blow our bearing seals if you aren't paying attention.
Zach for Pete's sake I did buy that gun the first time you posted it in a video ! Your right though it is the best greese gun I have owned. I also use the WD40 greese and the locking tip . I have 2 king pins in the front axle of one of my skiploaders that get real grumpy about taking greese on the top zerks but the gun and the locking tip get it to take so thanks for the recommendation. Great videos keep them coming my friend.
Great videos. I see all the motors and electric components around the holding bins out in the weather without protection. Maybe some covering would help reduce maintenance. BTW, feel free to label me an armchair farmer. :-)
I didn’t know soybeans were that dusty... another great video!
If I was you I would stop machine jump out and grab the odd tall plants. Might be a rare large or double producing stalk. Might be worth heaps long term, Two plants in such a big field could be a money earner.
Them dang over achiver gmo corn stalks. Just stand for Get More Out!!! way to shout out welker guys on 100,000 subs
I know you get a lot of comments, but you really are fun to watch. Grew up in Central Missouri, riding on the floor of my Grandfather's equipment. I can remember falling asleep and my head bouncing off the glass, but they would have to drag me out of it. Hopefully when I retire from the Army I can make something like this on my property! Please keep going, it's really enjoyable.
Excellent video Zach,I learn a little more with each video.
Should build a super vac system to pic up spilt grain... something quick and portable and a fraction of the size of a vac truck
Who gets to buy the case of beer for leaving the hopper bottom open?
I converted our 2388 to all LED's from Tiger Lights a couple of years ago. Not only were they considerably brighter, but spotting anything reflective in the distance becomes surprisingly easy. The best part though is watching the volt gauge not move at all when switching on the lights at night.
Loving the daily harvest videos! This is what it's all about
Where can I actually buy that Lumax cordless grease gun? Does it come with that lock on hose? Their website doesn't let me order and no list of dealers.
I'm a millennial ... where is my convenient link to navigate to those other videos?? You don't expect me to look for them, do you??
Dont forget the WD40, with the new bendable head for those hard to reach places, also it helps you hold your UA-cam camera.
Great video. I can remember our
"Claas" harvesters were 140 grease nipple every day. Good to know that engineering has progressed.
In crop production the large tall plants on our farm we call rogues. Usually they effect the quality of the seed so we have to go and chop them out in each field. But we grow seed corn so it could be something different.
Have you considered one of those Tribine combines? I think they have a 1,000 bushel hopper. But so new on the market you don’t know how reliable they are or how hard or long it takes to get parts.
Go back 100 videos and watch them all till you find it. Thats a good one i like this channel so much i probably will, ill find it eventually
One of our neighbors had their combine burn to the ground last night. He got hung up a bit but made it out ok. It was a newer Deere, haven't heard if they know a cause yet. Be careful
Well tried to cut beans today 1st time in 3 weeks due to rain fields were the wettest the have ever been. So I ordered 2 1400 metric tires hoping it will float across.
Handy tip get that leaf blower and blow out the engine bay and under carriage to many machines go up in flames from lack of cleaning. It's a must do
ForPetessake shoveling sucks! Once you get those LEDs on you’ll be able to light up the whole field.
Some people complain about supporter promotions...IF THE PRODUCT IS AWESOME, THE PROMOTION IS BOUND TO MAKE SOME FOLKS LIKE EASIER...ESPECIALLY OTHER FARMERS! I ENJOY THESE USER PROMOS...YOU KNOW THE ITEM WORKS...WELL.
We were our practicing g. Efore our foot all game last Friday and they were harvesting beans right beside the field and there was a huge cloud of dust every time they got to the end of the field!
How many acres to you have all together and I love your videos I look up to you your a big part of my day I’ve gave you many shout outs keep it up!❤️
Hey Zack iv noticed your augars on your headers that feed the crop towards the feeder house always seem to look like new do you keep repainting them?
you should look for a old tow behind air compressor for cleaning off the tractors....a lot faster than the blower and you can keep back out of the crap
How much does a bushel of GMO's weigh vs a Native American woman bushel?
Zach do you know why john veered hubs and rims are yellow? So you can fin it in the grass when park it there
ill bet the random tall corn is your seed companys fault it a few left over silage corn seeds getting mixed with regular corn seed.
Enjoy your vids Zack, Ken from southwest Georgia, always enjoy seeing how the rest of the country farms, we are finishing up peanut harvest, MICHEAL picked our cotton, not much of it left to pick be safe.
So you expect me to go back a hundred videos and watch them all until I find my answers?
Because I will.
Haha love the advertisement! I’ve been watchin here recently bud, from western Kansas..been just as busy too! Hope you enjoyed your time with that s670.. y’all need to swap out with the 9650 🤷🏼♂️ nothin runs like a Deere!
Zack I've been watching since about 30k subscribers... I really enjoy your content and love your drive to help shed a positive light on agriculture! Congratulations on your recent UA-cam success, over 40,000 new subs in 1 month is awesome and very much deserved. Keep up the great work!
Soybean dust Yuch! Try milo dust if you want a flavor change! Good thing you're wearing a respirator, that dust can really do some harm to yer breathers!
Hey, where's the plug fer the WD-40 grease???
Nice as always Zach!
Thanks for the commercial break, had time to make coffee. Auto grease system were all the go at one time, I wonder if there still used nowa days.
Farming is like tunnelling you jump from one breakdown to another. The best tunnel shield I've operated had a water hydraulic shove ram system. When we were on the money and sprung a leak, we just threw the hose pipe in the tank and kept going. Couldn't do that with oil.
Another great video! Keep up the work.
