24V Can Am Maverick X3 Kids Ride On - Assembly & Review

- Опубліковано 11 гру 2022
- In this video I show you how to assemble the 24-V Can-Am Maverick X3 kids ride on; and I compare it to the real Can-Am Maverick X3 to show how realistic this officially licensed BRP ride on is. By far I think this is one of the coolest ride on toys for kids out on the market today. From realistic rubber foam tires and working lights to leather seats and MP3 player, this is definitely one of my top picks for 2023.

Appreciate the help on this mate, made assembly so much easier
Dude, ty ty ty. So much easier to assemble this with your video than just with the instructions. Really appreciate you taking the time to do this video. Your UA-cam blog on this should be included with the instructions 😊.
Thank you for the video. Assembly was much easier thanks to this video, a lot less complicated than I thought.
Thank you so much. Your video was excellent and much appreciated :D
Great video, wasn't complicated but for the amount of money I definitely wasn't winging it. You went over everything nicely. The radio I a bit weird though, I guess the search option for the radio isn't manual but a broad search. So you can't jump channels individually it just searches till it gets a good enough connection?
Awesome job🎉
Thanks for the detailed assemble instructions! I just got one for the kid. Ours is quite noisy, is it normal?
Great video, just built my daughters pink RC
Hello, I have a question about CanAm 24v, how do you change the speed modes in manual mode? The point is that when a child rides alone, he must have free mode because he is still learning.
Hola una pregunta trae 2 baterías o las puesto tu la otra gracias
Nice review brother
How did your come with harness mine came with regular seatbelts
I have 1 now for my 3yr old son. How do you get the little radio, to play music from a thumbdrive? When I insert one it says usb mode but won't play any songs.
Is it possible to remove the roof roll cage bars
My DK-CA001 rear axle is missing. Where can I order to get the spare??
Impossible to find this model on the website you leave in description
This little thing is bad ass! Where did you pick it up at ?
Did the battery's come with the truck? Or did you have to find your own batteries?
Nice vid but would like a little more of the thing in action with the remote. Turning radius, ease of control, speed etc
I have this and want to make it slower when they drive itself. Anyone figure a way to do that would be awesome.
Man your garage is wild. What do you do for work?
Very helpful video, I got stuck at the rear wheels, quick question, did the rear axle came in a bag ? I can’t find it.
Mine was inside the box
thinking of gettitng this for my 6 year old -- is it good? and also can i increase the speed with a milwaukee battery ?
Hey, Ride Pro! I have a small request: Can you give me the link for the 24V Can-Am Maverick x3 Ride On? Is it available on Amazon? Thanks!
Why is it faster in reverse mines is slow going foward but fast backwards
How do you do a review without saying how it drives?
He doesn't do that, because it's super slow for $600!
@@flacktastic21 can you recommend something better?
@@flacktastic21It's quick enough for a 3 year old.
@@RoadjullA 3 year old girl maybe.
@@flacktastic21 you didn't have to tell us you don't have kids in so many words.
Made the mistake of assembling indoors. Now it's hostage in the house. Can the rollbars be removed after being clipped in? That's only thing holding us up from getting it out door.
You can undone them with difficulty by putting your hand through the underneath and sqeezing. I have managed to get the clips to a stage where they clip in and slip out alot easier by sqeezing them with pliers while detached and taping up so they stay in and still clip in for the most part
what is the power difference with just one battery?
Hey - how’s the start and stop on this?
I have a 24v and when I let off the gas - my 2 year old gets jolted. Is it pretty smooth start and stop?
It has a soft start and stop. My 2 year old is able to ride.
HI guys! Just got the Can am Maverick 24V for my Kid. Only Problem is that when he wants to ride himself, the Maverick is in Mode 3 and that is way to Fast. I can´t find a Way to change the mode for selfriding.
Did you even mention how fast it goes? Did i miss it?
I want to know how tall a kid can be and still fit
What type of go cart is that?
How fast it go??
Where do you store this electric you car ?
How do I know when it’s fully charged? I know it says to charge for 8 hours but is the light on the charger suppose to be blinking while charging ? I’ve checked the manual for this answer but it doesn’t say anything TIA
The light on the charger should turn green.
How long should it charge for? We got it assembled and it turned on no problem (didn’t drive it). Plugged it in before bed and it’s still red 12 hours later.. I unplugged it and tried turning it on and it acts as if it’s completely dead now?
I'm going on about 24 hours of charging now. And the charger still has a red light. I even took the seats off and let each one charge separately to see if I can get the charger light to turn green. But still no luck....its only green when it's completely unplugged from the side by side....starting to wonder if the had a batch of defective chargers
Uh my back motors are smoking... any idea why?
So 8 months later how is the build quality and the tires? We currently have a Honda ride on and the tires are plastic so they wore out within 6 months of use.
Still going strong. I have heard some people had issues with the gearboxes, but I think they have solved that issue. I have not had any problems with it and my kids still beat on it.
We are considering buying one. Thanks for the updates. Do you ever take it on hilly terrain?
@RidePro55 mine should be arriving on Thursday, but we aren't giving it to my son until Christmas.
One other question how was setting it all up was it pretty much good to go out of the box? Trying to figure out what all I'll need to do.
Hi mate do you know what the difference between the RS and RC model is? Looking at getting one of them for my daughter but wanted to figure out if there was any difference between the models.
RS or RC painting is not making a difference but the specs. Tne sellers are ordering from the factory the cars with different specs and the car to be printed with RS, for example.
I observed that RS is on 4x4 and RC is on 2x4 models but this is not a rule.
does the front suspension work or is it just for show?
Just for show
Hi there looks great, where did you buy it from ?
Hey I got one but it doesn't come with lether seat and the 3 point seat belt. It was really hard to find it in California because non of the website ship them over here. Is there any way you can find out how much battery you have left on it??
@@carlos138859 3 points seat belt option cost $3,25 at the factory. I don't understand the sellers which are not ordering with this option.
I got mine from Big toys Green Country in Muskogee Oklahoma
Can you take over via remote if it’s on manual mode?
Unfortunately this one is on a switch in the car, so you can’t override like the other remote models.
Best regards Ride Pro I have the same car as you but with one battery, can you tell me what the car gets if I buy another battery. Thanks in advance😊
2 batteries gives up to 3hrs play time vs 1 battery(1.5hrs playtime)
Thank you very much for your reply 👍
1. How long does the battery last?
2. How long does it take to charge?
I would also like to know these answers
I got my son 1 finally!
When you hookup both batteries does it 48v?
No, everything in the car is prepared for 24V. They are connected for capacity.
Question, if you have the switch on the dash set to "Remote Control" can the child still drive the car and you can just use the remote to redirect them if needed or is it strictly "remote only" in that mode?
No. If the switch is on Manual mode you cannot drive the car using the remote control. The only thing you can is to stop it.
This is a very large & heavy ride on toy. Probably need at least a mid-size SUV for transportation and it requires partial dis-assembly to bring it through a standard doorway. Some design changes that would make it better:
1.) Large discrepancy between seat size versus leg room. 4-6 inches of length removed from the entire design would be better for transportation purposes and kids would probably still fit inside of it just fine. Removing length would also remove weight which would be nice considering this is probably 90ish pounds when assembled.
2.) An easily removeable roll cage would be better. Can't turn it sideways and fit it through a 30" doorway with the cage installed. No easy way to remove the cage after plastic tabs snap together. Requires wheel dis-assembly to bring through a door.
3.) Not very practical to take the seats off and remove 12 screws to get the batteries out. Would be better if the seats just popped off and the batteries could be removed without removing a bunch of screws.
4.) Start/stop button is easily accessible for a young toddler to constantly push and turn the vehicle off while you're driving it with the remote. Gets annoying to have to constantly walk over and re-start it for them.
Nice suggestions. You have thought this through 👍
Imagine making a half hr video without going into how the thing drives.
Can your 2 yr old reach the pedal?
Do u have her sitting on something or is that just the seat I'm worried about my girl being to small she just two
The seat is very small. You will want it bigger and more comfortable. But is not.
How does it handle on the grass or dirt? We currently have a 12v one and it’s very slow in the grass
Swap it with a 18v Milwaukee battery. That’s what I did and it’s got no problem with passing me running
@@williamcomer1270based answer. I've been thinking about doing that
I wrote a reply but was deleted. Maybe you can think for 570 12000RPM motors or 550 15000 RPM motors.
Everything done properly, but steering doesn’t turn the wheels when on manual mode, only in the remote mode, straight out of the box, yes the steering is plugged in, any reason you have for me?
Where can I buy it at anyone kno?
I bought mine at Big Toys Green Country in Oklahoma.
Hey I can’t get the wheels to push in the gear box, they stick out an inch or so please help me
I got 1 and only 1 wheel pulls and it’ll drive and stop, drive and stop. I believe I got a lemon
Not found on the linked website. Bummer.
Just bought one from big toys green country. Muskogee , ok
Same place I bought mine.
All i want to know is how fast it goes
5mph
Anyone done a 36v upgrade yet ?
Why? The model from this video has 4 motors 200W each. The 12V version has just 35W motors.
@@HD2You Can you please tell how much runtime are you getting on these 4x4 200w motors?..
I know it could more be related to weight. My son is about 40 pounds. I was looking at an another Jeep model which has the same 7A bettery and 4x4 120w motors...
Seguimos las indicaciones para vimcular el control remoto no funciona Realmente si necesito un video de paso a paso 😊²
Too bad the gearboxes wear after 2 hours of light usage (fenced in grass yard). Machine looks cool and was fun for my kid briefly but, has gone through 3 motors in less than 5 hours of run time. For the price of this machine, I expected way better quality.
Do they warranty them? Or are you having to buy new motors?
Can it be used by an 1 year old boy?
I don't see why not. I mean if they're strapped in they might not be able to actually control it but they'll still have a blast with you operating. Time flies by so it won't take long till he gets a bit bigger.
You should consider the version with 3 points seat belt.
If you really can't find the version from this video and only the version with the garbage unique seat belt you can mod your seat by adding for example a 3 point seat belt from an old baby stroller or put both original seat belts in X shape on the driver seat. You have a lot of screw holes on the back of the chair where you can attach the original seat belts into new position.
Did you find the answer for the question as my little one has first Birthday in 15 days and the plan are to buy one of this and only the age limit stopping me so far? I have the option to be with 3-point seat belt.
Anyone like to buy me one my child would love this
How old is this girl? My boy is 12m old... wondering is he old enough to ride this.
Just imagine if you brought a real car and had to assemble it .
Im doing something wrong 😢 I'm a 39yr old Australian and have worked extremely hard virtually every business day since I was 17 and I can still barely afford this toy let alone your work bench or a real can-am
That sucks
