This is just heartfelt to me. I previously watched ur "First VA interview..." and then I came across this one which is the update from that initial interview. I like how you are humbled when u said u passed the interview, and then u shared ur personal matter about your journey. I love how people are strong and brave enough to share these amazing events in an individual's life. If it's not so amazing, that's up to the one having the thought of it. But yes as I also saw ur reply from the comments here, "We should take rejection as redirection." I love that.
I actually am a recent Board passer this year, if I may introduce myself, It's been three months since i took the board exam. I only applied at hospitals after over 2 months and had no luck, still unemployed and, *holds a tear haha* but my frustrations are kicking in. It's saddening that is why i am here watching VA journeys po and nakakatulong tong mga to. I really need to also work hard and create/build something for my own growth. Thank you po. And I love how raw and real these kinds of content are.
Hello po, thank you so much for your comment. It's so heart-warming, I am glad to hear that in some way, viewers like you are able to relate to my videos. People often post the bright side of VA journeys like the income and all, but I am hoping to create more relatable contents where people see not just the success, but also the struggles you have to take to get there.
Congrats on passing the board exam! I know there's a lot of opportunities out there waiting for you. Healthcare industry is very huge in the US, there are agencies that hire specifically for medical VAs if you are interested to start your VA journey po. Some agencies even have a starting salary of $7.5/hour 😉.
The journey may be hard, but it will be worth it, don't give-in to the frustrations because they are meant to make you and not break you. Let it bring the best out of you! Laban !💕🙏

Same case yung tipong malapit ka na magka-client pero di ka napili, Na-hold yung position, or worst wala pang balita sa client kung kelan yung client interview mo, hopefully mamayang 12 am I succeed in Initial interview and tomorrows interview (malapit na ako sumuko) I have experience as Digital Marketer and Social media manager with sales background hopefully I get a client

Thank you Dani for your kind words and for subscribing 😉. I just saw your comment and I'm sorry for the late reply. Working and developing on some VA skills kind of depends on the niche you would want to focus on, but overall, I'd say English communication skills is really necessary both in written and verbal. It's the only way for you and your client to effectively communicate. If I would choose which niche I would probably want to focus more, I'd say it's digital marketing because it's currently in demand 😉.

May we know what were the requirements that you were asked to submit for us to have an idea.
It doesn't make sense na hahanapan ka pa ng clearance kng u.s based ang company and client? Ano gagawin nla sa clearance curious lng ako?
At d sila tumatanggap ng 3rd party server. Kahit work from home parang dadaan kapa sa butas ng karayom.
Di rin po ako sure as to why they strictly needed the proof of separation. Maybe the business is legally registered in the Ph kaya pinapa secure nila applicants ng COE or to make sure po na walang moonlighting na mangyayari.
Anyway, theories ko lang po to ha. Kasi sa past agency experience ko rin po, they did not require anything from me regarding proof of separation ko.

Hi, yes I have done direct clients. They did not require COE based on my experience. It's totally different. Direct clients are more focused on the output/service that you can offer.
Didnt you try to communicate them after you get your CoE? Who knows maybe they push thru or accept for the last time your application. Hehe
Hello po, the moment I received my COE from my previous company, I was already in training with Careers at Magic. So I did not try to reach out with them na if they could still accept my COE and it's been long due po. My COE arrived after 2 mos that I've had an active communication with them 😀.

@@YummyCravings101 I think that would work. As long as there's a proof that separated ka na sa previous company mo. I guess to follow na lang physical or electronic copy ng COE. For the reference, I am not sure if they reached out to anyone I indicated as a contact on my resume kasi my colleagues never mentioned anything to me about getting contacted.
