Thanks, that one is hidden pretty good. I asked my wife if she could check it since she said it was shifting hard and she couldn't find it, I told her it will look a lot like the oil dipstick, she said there isn't one, only the oil one. Darnnit if she wasn't right, looks more like a regular fill cap, plus being hidden down low.
Have a 2012. Worst vehicle I've ever owned. Regular maintenance is a nightmare. Engineers made simple maintenance a chore. I can't afford a car right now so I'm stuck with it. The gdi engine needed new injectors a 70k miles. Cost me $2k. Just never buy this vehicle
I agree. I have a 2015 acadia Denali and I've spent $15k on repairs in the last 3 years. Right now there is another $5k that should be done to even sell it. I'm stuck too.
@@DirtRoadAutoRepair2017 has one, but it seems like my pan is stuck on. Took my 11mm socket & removed all 11 screws & it’s not even leaking from the seal. I have taken a flathead screwdriver & tried to pry in between the pan & bottom of transmission. It is just stuck on. Help!!! What can I do. Car is on jack stands until I figure this out.
Very helpful. Thank you
You're welcome. 👍🏼

Do you check it with the engine running or not? Some vehicles do, some don't...
I checked with engine off. Usually it will say on the dipstick if it needs engine idling in park/neutral.
Thank you. I thought the oil stick was the transmission stick.
No problem. Happy to help. 👍🏼

Wow never heard of people having major issues with these cars. Very reliable with regular maintenance.
So do it supposed to say hot if it's good??
I don’t understand your question as you’ve phrased it.
Check it running
2018 does not have a dipstick
This is for 07-16
