This would've been awesome for the Graveyard/Woods stage! They probably should've used Another Part of Me for another stage, but at least some of the dance attacks use Thriller in certain versions!
They used Thriller fully but copyright forced them to change the song. Thriller fully exist in a prototype cartridge. Also in a ROM hack with better drums.

The Proto drums were just shitty Chinese Bootleg drums anyways. I much prefer the arcade version's drums the MD game took it from as well.

Funnily, the percussion samples in the prototype were the exact same samples used in “Revenge of Shinobi”, heh.
@@supermariobro93 How do they sound worse though? My only guess is memory space. The Mega Drive RoS OST was already a bit cut down from the PC-88 RoS OST, but the drums here (well, not here, but in the proto OST) just sound muffled and choppy.
Sounds absolutely amazing, now we need somebody who hacks the game, replace this version instead of another part of me or the beta track and shares the ips patch

Adorei! Eu só aumentaria o volume do PSG porque ficaram muito boas as harmonias, porém não tão audíveis.
Valeu pela dica, cada recriação que faço pelo VGM Music Maker eu tento descobrir o balanceamento melhor pro som PSG, porque durante o processo no geral os canais soam diferente do resultado final.

You might find it here on youtube if you search for it
If not, then I recommend going over to Etsy and looking up FanBrewGames to get yourself a repro cart with Thriller in the final release

Antigamente eu usava o Deflemask, mas dele para o que atualmente uso o VGM Music Maker, não há muita diferença.
No comentário fixado você pode baixar a versão mais simples desse tema.

Second this. Haven't heard a better rendition that fits the style of the game than this. Of course you can use youtube-dl-gui and then just use a program like Foobar2000 to simply get the audio from the video, but it'd be nice to have a FLAC or WAV file so the UA-cam compression wouldn't be there. Any case, great remix.

Yep. They shared the same sound engine SMPS.
@@edu_moonwalker Most Japanese MD games used SMPS, but most games sounded very different due to the far greater range SMPS offers. If anything, this is just slightly beefed instruments from the arcade game.
