I don't know if people will buy from me as I am not a professional baker...I am obsessed making and decorate cookies . Love your video.
At what point do you become a professional baker? When you get a certification, magazine cover, mention from a celebrity? Then why do we call people who are incredibly good at their craft professionals? Skill shows profession, not a paper.
You won't know till you try, actually try though. Alot of people dip their toes in the water and say they can't swim.

Do you ship cookies? If so, can you show your process for packaging/shipping? My concern is cookies melting or breaking before getting to the customer. Thank you!

Breaking is a valid concern, but a lot of shipping processes can be put through the temp controlled trailers. When you ship a temp sensitive food item the semi truck that hauls that freight is connected to a trailer called a reefer. This is a shipping trailer specifically designed to refrigerate and store shipped food items. Cookies may not need this, but it will prevent melting cookies and the cold hardens cookies temporarily which can also prevent them from being damaged.

When you say set up social media and get yourself out there, do you mean just on the internet, or in real life?(I'm kinda old and don't know as much as most people do about how the internet works) Also, what is a pre-sale?

If you are serious and have the drive, you can and will make really good money! I was shocked at how easy and how much I make at doing what I LOVE....consider getting INSURANCE though it is very reasonable and worth every penny in case someone tries to say they got sick from your baked goodies !

Not true, this is misinformation. You can sell baked goods from home in NY as long as the item does not need heat/cold regulations after production. Here is the actual cottage law in NY.
