This was a cool fall October afternoon at Pearson International Airport in Toronto. The airport was very busy, however, navigating thru ticketing all the way to security was a breeze this afternoon. This flight is the first leg of three flights as we make our way to Australia. We are flying a Boeing 777-200LR that is 15 years old. Unfortunately the window at our seat bears this age a bit and it affected the filming - especially filming at night. The realism of sitting at this seat though, does come thru. We get some epic footage of Canadian cities all lit up en route. A great takeoff from Toronto also leads to some great city shots with the lights of the city and a nice approach into Vancouver to end this leg of the journey.
Air Canada has 6 Boeing 777-200LR aircraft in their fleet. In total only 61 200LR versions of this aircraft were ever delivered worldwide. Although Air Canada has newer liveries on a couple of their 200LR's this particular jet we flew is outfitted with the "Frosted Maple Leaf" livery.
Air Canada is the flag carrier and the largest airline of Canada by the size and passengers carried. Air Canada maintains its headquarters in the borough of Saint-Laurent, Montreal, Quebec. Air Canada was recognized recently at the 2021 Skytrax World Airline Awards for Best Airline Staff in North America; Best Airline Staff in Canada; Best Business Class Lounge in North America; and Excellence for COVID 19.
This flight was comfortable for seating in economy class. The staff was great. This is definitely a recommended airline and flight. Their awards are indicative of the experience that you will get.

Top class video! I love how you capture the scenes of arriving at the airport and, especially, after you’ve cleared security and are walking around the terminal plane spotting as the anticipation builds. That’s an amazing part of many trips. Thanks so much for your hard work and for sharing!

Wow I wonder why they would use an LR for such a short flight what a treat

It was odd...they had changed the plane on us a number of times, and we had a number of seat changes leading up to the flight. Perhaps they do this if they is a bigger demand...not totally sure, but it was nice...thanks for tuning in!

@@nathansflightchannel I got to fly a UAL new 777-300er from EWR to SFO 4 years ago because they were testing it on domestic route before it went international

The LR has been flying that route regularly for years, among other things it continues on from Vancouver to Sydney (and sometime other long-haul destinations). It sometimes also flies other times during the day and turns back to return to Toronto before undertaking more long-haul flying. Really is a treat to fly it!

Nice!..In my opinion those are the best seats in basic economy. If I was to upgrade from those seats I would go to Business class. Enjoy your flight!

Yes, I did put in an offer for business right after booking , worth it for 15 hours flight, it was over 9k if I buy outright.

Really bad experience in air Canada ,Due to their mistake I lost my 10000$ in tickets and now they don't provide me new tickets , secondly they dint provide us hotel at Toronto airport while weather was not good and 1 days delay was there .we have to spent whole day for just requesting them for hotel stay .I ensure in future while buying tickets with Aircanada .after paying lots of money if customer have to bag for service how can we say these is good management .really third quality management i have ever seen in my life.dont go for Aircanada
