This brings back so many memories of my brother and I at Stanley Park, Vancouver. It was the 70's. They used to have a nice greasy fish and chips stand close to where we would set up for the day. My mom and dad would lay on a blanket up near the grass and my brother and I would spend hours on the beach catching tiny crabs and putting them in our little plastic buckets. We would get all scratched up from the barnacles that grew on the rocks. But finding beautiful seashells and playing with those little crabs made it all worthwhile. My mom always made us put the crabs back, although we cried because we wanted to take them home with us. Looking back now it wasn't ideal for those baby crabs, but those days were absolute magic for my brother and I. Thank you for sharing!
I found you on tiktok and really love this series! I love your commentary and the sea cucumber shaming🤣
It's like I'm with you looking for shells, so cool
i love this so much like i always look on tiktok for some new videos of whats under that rock, its so interesting and a nice way to learn something about the sea and their animals pls keep this series 💗💗🥹
Tasmania has few beaches where we can find shells, I am so jealous, why throw the smaller ones away when you could sell them in bags to people like me..
Could be a galapqgos black spot cowrie they look similar
Where is this-
Like your first episode. Looking forward to seeing more.
I love this series on tiktok , where abouts in Australia is this?
The tun shell is an amazing shell. Thank you for a great rock flipping day.
I’m from QLD Australia
I’m not gonna lie, when you picked up the unknown shell around 3:30-ish, you I said, “that looks like a type of olive shell to me. I’ve seen quite a few that we’re similar, but were white in color” and then you said, “it’s actually not an olive shell, but a juvenile cowrie shell that doesn’t have its teeth”, and I had to pause the video because of how stunned I was 😂
Pretty cool hey
I love this content so much I hope you keep creating these😄😁
