One Young World 2016 Summit Highlights

The One Young World 2016 Summit took place in Ottawa, Canada. The Summit brought together 1,300 young leaders from 196 countries to debate and formulate solutions to some of the world's most pressing problems.
Alongside delegates, Ottawa welcomed One Young World Counsellors including Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, Actor & UN Women Global Goodwill Ambassador Emma Watson, Former UN Secretary-General, Kofi Annan; activist and musician Sir Bob Geldof; Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus; Former President of Ireland Mary Robinson.
One Young World co-founder Kate Robertson said: “With every One Young World Summit we hope to push the boundaries of what is possible, to ensure that we continue to be the premier gathering for young leaders globally.”
The One Young World Summit brings together more nations than any other youth-dominated event - with the exception of the Olympic Games.
