Hello And welcome to another upgrade Series on the Traxxas Trx4M Bronco
We are going to be installing the newly released Injora professional Coreless Micro servo 11kg
Do not forget, you will need the servo aluminium mount made by Injora to be able to install the servo.
Note this server is not waterproof
We will do a quick test on its power and speed once the installation is complete.

Thank you! I just installed mine while watching your video
Hi dude 👋
I'm glad my video could help 😉
If there's ever anything I can help you with just let me know.
I really appreciate the view and comment 🤜💥🤛
My stock servo gears just broke down 2 days ago and I was looking around for a powerful metal servo. I went with this one and I like it. Would have loved it to be waterproof but not too bad as this one I plan to use mostly indoors. And your video did make it easy for me to install. So, thanks!
So far I've got nothing bad to say about these servos, just wish they were waterproof.
I'm so glad that my video was able to help you 😊
And I truly appreciate you watching and commenting bro 🤜💥🤛
One question- over the last couple of days i realized this servo brushing against the front frame slightly maybe because it is slightly taller than the stock servo. It is not a major issue but might impact the articulation at some angles. Did you experience this? If yes then did you do anything to address this? Thanks.
@@laxm8162 on the Bronco as I'm already running the lcg chassis from Injora I didn't really have this problem, but it was catching on the bumper mount which I called the little bit of the plastic away to allow a small tolerance.
On the defender that still has the stock chassis it definitely rubs on the chassis rails, and when I fitted the flex blades it was so bad that I remove the front blades immediately.
I am going to be fitting the lcg chassis to the defender today, to see if it helps.
I see they have come out with I serve amount to mount the servo on the axle, I'm going to need to get my hands on one of them to see if it will eliminate that problem!
But the lcg chassis definitely help on the Bronco, so I'm hoping it does the same for the defender.
@@laxm8162only a problem with the high trail models where the servo is set much lower to the shock towers
@@OswaldBeef thanks for that info. I am actually considering buying the new high trail version sometime soon!
Awesome brother! Amazing quality as usual from Injora! Looks great my man! 🤩
Thanks bro 🤜🤛
The power and speed is outstanding from this servo💪💪💪
Thank you so much for the view and comment
Will be going to check your videos out, as soon as I get to sit down and relax today ✌️🤪
Yo bro,great!👍
My TRX4M bronco full upgrades!! Look that!!! big up
Thanks bro 🤜💥🤛
Great upgrade 🔥💪💪🔥
Hey man. Had gotten both version of the trx4ms and been doin small brass upgrades here and there and just had both of there steering servos break in the same day lol. So I ordered 2 sets of these in hopes that these won’t strip from a few brass upgrades weights? What have u thought so far as in how long these last? And would u say it’s a must to get a metal steering link or is it fine with the stock plastic one? Thanks and very helpful video!
Hi bro, the original servos really do die quickly! I have now used this Servo in eight different rigs, and so far not one has given me trouble.
Some have been running for more than a year and 8 months now.
They say it's not waterproof and I have also run it in water multiple times with absolutely no issues.
You can use the stock links, but there will be a lot of play compared to using metal or aluminum ones.
It's a pleasure bro, that's exactly why I make these videos, because I remember how hard it was in the beginning when I started.
I really appreciate you watching and taking the time to leave me a comment! 👊😉
Did your servo needed some trimming on the steering? Mine doesn’t really let me along the horn dead center
Very interesting and informative! Cool upgrade! Have a nice weekend my friend!
Hello my friend 🤜💥🤛
So glad to read that that you liked it✌️😉
You have a good weekend too 😊👍
Just got my TRX4m 5 days ago, and my stock servo died today. Too much trying to turn the wheels when they were up against obstacles I guess. Just ordered this one.
I'm not surprised the original ones are very fragile!
You will be extremely impressed with this one! The only thing is that it's not waterproof.
In my opinion after using it on four different Builds they are awesome and haven't let me down yet!
@@rcfungames I don’t plan on going thru mud or puddles so I’m not too worried about that. It’ll be used mostly on rocks or inside the house. The Injora one can take a beating?
@@jasonbrown31485 oh yes, I have put mine through some tough situations especially considering my rigs are fully loaded with upgrades, it does very well under all that weight!
@@rcfungames excited. I also ordered +2mm hexes, Injora beadlocks and tires, and a little toolkit. Next will be some brass bits.
@@jasonbrown31485 I bet, these are a lot of fun to work on! you going to really enjoy it!
Welcome to the hobby 😉👍
Fantastic install video! My servo is wigging out so I'm guessing a gear tooth is broken. Anynow, just ordered this same servo/mount so should be back up and running in a day or two! Cheers!
Thanks bro, I appreciate the feedback 🤜🤛
Yeah they are original servers are very easy to strip out or burnout!
These have been running really great, I've even run them in water and had no problems even though they say they're not waterproof.
Really appreciate you watching and leaving a comment.
Hope you get your parts quick and get that truck back up and running 😉👍👍
@@rcfungames Just letting you know I got the servo as well as an IR40 body in yesterday. Man, I'm too old to be putting things together that require small screws...! Anyhow, the servo is amazing and so is the IR40 body. Also moved the ECM to the roof of the cab and made my own bed cover. Cheers!
Love it, I’ve been curious about this servo for the 4m. Great video!
Cool bro, thanks 👍👍
They're okay! I can't complain plenty of power 💪💪💪
@@rcfungames servo arrived, installing tomorrow on my bronco. 👍🏻
@@CrazyQuadBrothersP3 that's so cool. I hope it goes well 🤞😉
Hello,
I really liked it again, a very informative video!👍
Greetings Seven🖖
Hi bro 👋
Thanks 👍 really appreciate it
Greetings Ryan 🖖
@@rcfungames 😀
This helped me a lot. Thank you
Really happy to hear that! thank you for the feedback 🤜💥🤛
Thank you ❤
It's a pleasure bro, I'm glad the videos are helpful.
I'm the one that thinks you for watching my content! 🤜💥🤛
Great video as always Ryan! 👍
Thank you I really appreciate it
🤜💥🤛
I had so many things distracting me today that's I'm surprised it even came out half-decent 😅
I know this server is not waterproof, but it really does performed extremely well 💪💯💪
Thank you for the view and comment 👍
What is the difference between this one and the blue 11g one?
The difference between the two is, that the one I'm using is a 11kg coreless servo with aluminum housing
The blue one is only a 7kg servo so a lot weaker and the housing is plastic, the one advantage it has over the 11 kg is that it is waterproof.
Hope that helps
Ola amigo parabéns pelo video. O braço para esse servo de 11k é de 25T ou 15T?
Muito obrigado André 👊😉
O braço do servo é de 25T mas micro 25T
O mais fácil é encomendar o braço com o servo e o apoio do servo.

Nice ! Mines going out right now , my tires are shaking when I was crawling yesterday
Yeah I knew they weren't going to last long so I thought I would change my out with something good 😉
Thanks for watching and commenting🤜💥🤛
Hey man,
Quick question
I just replaced my stock servo and I’m having trouble figuring out why the truck turns one direction a little more than the other?
I have played with adjusting the steering horn and no matter what I do, the steering always turns more in one direction. Is it something that I have messed up in the front end or????🤷♂️
It looks to me like the servo isn’t set properly. Is this a thing?
Hi bro, don't stress over it I have had this problem with three out of six of the coreless servos from Injora!
Some of them just seem to be a little off dead center!! I'm guessing when you put the servo horn on even with the steering from set to neutral, it or sits one way a little or the other way! Right?
If that's the case then just like me it's going to turn a little bit more one way than the other for some weird reason!!
It drove me mad in the beginning and I tried everything to fix it!!
But with no success!
When I installed the second one I ordered I didn't have this problem.
When my steering trim was set to neutral, the servo horn set perfectly straight!!! And also didn't turn more one way than the other!!
So yes it seems to be that some of them are a little bit of dead center.
Which can be very annoying but it's not really a problem!
So don't stress yourself out about it, you didn't do anything wrong!
🤜🤛
@@rcfungames thank you so much for that information
I appreciate you and your channel!
Fantastic tutorials
Thank you I really appreciate that 🙏😊
What size hex drivers do i need for the servo mount and the servo itself. Is it just a 1.5mm like the rest of the truck?
Yes, it's the 1.5mm that you will need, but pick up a 1.3 because often rims and other things come with that size.
@@rcfungames ya I was going to grab one when I got some brass rims from them. I was going to get the tires and rims soon then my servo stripped out
Very nice job. Looks like a good upgrade.
Thanks dude 👍👍
It's speed and power is impressive but I'm disappointed that it's not waterproof
I wasn't thinking about that , I do need it to be waterproof
Im waiting on the 7kg Injora blue one. All the injora ones are on backorder seems like they’re selling so fast
I still haven't given one of those a try.
You must let me know what you think of it and yes it seems like they always out of stock!
@@rcfungames definitely will man. I rarely run larger than 58x24’s on 53mm shocks. With moderate brass So i figure thatll be plenty of power
Nice Injora👍💥
I have been using their parts earlier and so far nothing has failed me or broken! Injora 💪💪💪
Great upgrade 🤩
Thanks bro 🤜💥🤛
Great job👌🏽
Thanks bro 👊😉👍
Does the servo make alot off noise? Or is it quiet and only making noise when turning?
My servo only makes noise when turning 🤔
@@rcfungames thank you 😁 then i'm going to get the injora servo for my fcx comp build 😁
@@bjornen_3171 it's a pleasure bro, don't forget it's not waterproof
Great upgrade!
Thanks bro, its got great speed and power 💪💪
@@rcfungames I noticed that, and it fit easily! I wish I'd waited. All my upgrades are Traxxas. That's ok. Next Trx4m, I'll make different upgrades. These are so cool that I'll build another!
@@johnlujan8706 soon I will have all the original parts from fitting all the upgrades, then I am going to build 2 stock ones, and start all over again, but for water trails
This servo is great but not waterproof 😞
@@rcfungames it's still a great servo. I'm thinking that using all Traxxas upgrades on my first is alright. I plan on getting another Bronco and using other upgrades.
I Noticed This Servo Along With Bigger Brass Wheels Causes The Battery To Become Usless At Lower Charge Levels. The ESC Sees The Battery Voltage Dip From Increased Load From Servo And Wheel Weight And Calls The Battery Dead And Goes Slow. My Buddies Rig Was Set Up Like That. I Swapped His Dead Battery Into My Stock Defneder And I Got Like 15 Mins Out Of His "Dead Battery". So There Are Some Trade Offs hahaha.
Oh yes definitely the more you add the last run time you get!
When I first got them I almost had about 35 minutes of run time now you get about 15 m
But that's okay as I just play with them in my backyard course and I've got plenty of batteries. 😅
But yes in my opinion too much is not good either my next builds have bit less weight than my first two.
And overall they have better run times and perform better.
❤awesome
Hi Dozer 🤘😁
Thanks so much bro 🤜💥🤛
Hi, would this fit on a fcx18 lc80?
Thanks
Hello Lonewolf, sadly I don't believe it fits! It would need a different Servo mount for it to work.
is the loctite a must if yes what can i use bc i have no loctite
Sometimes I can get away without using loctite, but for safety sake if you don't want it to come and loose on the trail you are better off using it.
Just fit it without loctite and monitor it over the next few crawls to make sure it's not coming loose.
And if it does just get a small bottle of loctite from your local hardware store.
And don't go for the super strong stuff use the blue loctite
How about listing the parts?
I believe the link to the servo is listed in the description of the video!
But here is the link
www.injora.com/products/injora-coreless-high-torque-micro-servo-for-1-18-trx4m-injs11
The servo looks like it does a good job. But damn pricey.
Bro I'm definitely impressed with these servos, and compared to anything else of the same category it is well priced.
I have been running this server for over a year now with absolutely no issues.
So I think it's actually worth it compared to buying something cheaper.
When I replaced mine I didn’t remove the battery tray
Wow that must have made it really easy then to remove the cable that goes through the battery tray to the electronics!!
Does a emaxx servo have enuff power to work for the trx4m
I would say so yes, but you could always go for this one as well which is not too pricey
www.injora.com/products/injora-powerhd-tr-4-waterproof-25t-2065-servo-differential-lock-dig-shift-servo-for-trx4-scx10-iii-capra
@@rcfungames thanks I tired the emaxx it would just brown out even off the ground got hot as hell also lol
@@rcjoe406 can you move your knuckles and steering links freely for is there friction
I run the emxx servos on all my scx24, and they way pretty much the same as my TRX4m and I've had no problems yet.
@@rcfungames that's what I thought even with no tires tried 2 same results weird
Maybe u can check it out sometime
Is that servo Waterproof?
Sadly enough know dude it's not waterproof 😞 but I'm not going to be running these in water so I didn't mind using them.
But yes definitely a letdown 😅
I really appreciate the view and comment, thank you 😉👍👍👍
@@rcfungames Thank you for the answer.
Very cool videos by the way 👍🏻
@@LeonLorbeer-os1ly thank you!! I really appreciate that 🤜💥🤛
And I always answer 👍
This servo would work to its full power/speed potential if it was powere directly off the battery leads, receiving signal white wire only from the esc
I'm sure it's got a lot more power to give, but even with my rig completely upgraded it's got more than enough power and speed.
When the original electronics finally give me trouble I will then set it up with an external BEC.
@@rcfungames why wait. Just youtube it and its an easy soldering. White to.esc amd red black to battery
@@OswaldBeefdidn't know it was your truck in the video
@@UNDEADGERBIL pay more attention then I guess 😂
@@OswaldBeef didn't think of that. Next time I will watch @rcfungames instead
Is anyone else having problems with the new injora coreless servo? I put a brand new one on the front of my rig with 4WS, SCX24. As soon as I toggle the wheels left or right "fast" the Furitek Lizard pro starts ro brown out or "reboot" it's only on that servo my rear the AGFRC is fine. I was pulling my hair out for a week so I called furitek and after talking to them they said I needed a BEC thats fine however I explained I've been running these large servos for a long time and more so they sent me out a new Python Pro sweet! After talking with Furitek I realized the problem I emailed to pay for the ESC. I am hoping that wasnt premature! I don't see how that servo is bad it works perfectly It just makes the ESC not work perfectly LOL. anybody heard of this? Is there any programming I have to do for digital servos on my receiver?
I have had no problems with the cordless Servo from Injora!!
But then I am running it with the original e ECM.
Hey don't get me wrong I am in no way talking bad about the servo, matter of fact t's a great little servo. The servo actually works and it works great it just totally screws with my ESC and trust me I've tried everything. I thought brownouts so I added glitch buster nothing added two goods busters nothing then I completely unplugged everything except for that servo and the ESC and it still does it.
I really wanted to be something like I couldn't have that servo mixed in with my other servo or something weird like that but nope
Update! Got my new replacement Injora servo and its doing the same thing. I put the servo in my stock scx24 and its fine so must be the lizard pro. I have a Python pro on the way but I still don't get why it works with the biger AGFRC its a larger servo but what ever the ESC must be shot. If anyone els has this issue please post a comment I'll keep an eye out. Thanks
@@timwegman5776how is it on the python pro?
