I found out about Tim during the heart of 2020 during COVID and the black matter riots. Couldn’t make sense of the world when I got fired from my job and barely could keep a roof over my head cause everything was shut down I hear ya man. Tim’s straightfaced satire but informative rants really helped keep moving forward
I was in China in 2014 and the local populace warned me to have unprotected intimacy with people due to the risk of contracting HIV. It's definitely present there and it stems from young people in schools with gender separation and in puberty they "explore" with the same sex peers which sometimes leads to a gay lifestyle and thus HIV is somewhat of a societal issue for them. That's what I was told by them when I was there at least, from multiple people who did not know eachother. So yes, it's likely that the CCP was actually not lying when they stated their reasons for this research to begin with.
UA-cam had taken a lot of stuff down, so some of the videos are re-uploads that joe prolly had to fight to get back. There was a couple I saw a year ago that I got a notification for lol. There are also separate channels uploading full vids of his while his was being targeted so when I search "joe rogan full videos." It'll give me a Playlist of his videos compiled with multiple channel uploads. Idk if joe is behind those other channels or if it's other people trying to keep the videos public or just people taking the vids. I assume as he gets them back up, he'll get the other channels to take their copies down.

Discussions about complete decriminalization of drugs sound incredibly naive. In the middle of an opioid crisis the solution is not making heroin and cocaine more available. As a former addict,the only thing that actually convinced me to get clean was being sent to prison. Obviously a first or even second time offender, should not be sent down for possession of drugs but someone who has repeatedly been locked up for violating drug laws because of their inability to get clean? It actually might be saving their life to force them into a place where they can't get those drugs. Just saying.
