We get fitted for the shoes and I give you my full breakdown of my thoughts as well as sizing advice and what model I believe you should be looking at, spoiler, the Carbon might not be the best for you. Don't think I'm familiar with either of those shoes! Haven't worn ECCO in a long time! Will have to check them out but yes you're right, great year for shoes!

I’m a FJ shoe & apparel fan and I had a look at these in our Pro Shop this week as I have enough credit for some new shoes. I love the look of the shoes, however as soon as I looked at the soles, I thought they would be lacking in grip on anything but the driest summer day. I’ll give them a miss and continue with my FJ Field, Fuel and Packard. All the grip is on the perimeter of the sole with none in the middle sections. This might be ok when swinging but not great when walking along slopes in damp conditions. They won’t wear out as quick though.
This is something I will be paying a lot of attention to when I do my full review of these out on the course. The testing of these shoes has been incredible, I don't believe FJ would bring these shoes to the market, with how important the ProSL model is to the brand, if they weren't going to perform well across the board. 👍
they look decent tbh. struggle getting into most golf shoes as i have wide feet. will give them a go!

I get that! They are quite a bit larger than the previous models, it’s worth it for the extra underfoot cushioning though!
Wish FJ would offer a spiked version, because the HF material is a dirt magnet, and the premiere series are too hard around the ankle. Tour Alpha tore along the join to the sole after 3 rounds, so they were returned to the shop.
I don’t know if we will ever see a spiked model to be honest! Shame about the Tour Alpha! Never heard of that happening before!
I like the vlog style to the video. I was trying to figure out what kind of car you were in. The steering wheel was nice! I have four pair of FJ and the sizing kills me. Three different styles and three different sizes. I don’t like the look of these new shoes. But I bet they are comfortable.
3 different styles and 3 different sizes, which pairs have you got? They maybe aren't the best looking pair of shoes but they are definitely comfortable. It's a Peugeot 308 from a few years back. 👍 Thanks for watching and the feedback on the vlog content.
@@TheGolfFashionGuy two pair of FJ free styles (one BOA and one regular), FJ pro Sl and FJ Premier (best looking). With a total of 14 pair of golf shoes. lol.

With the carbon does the shoe flex so walking is comfortable?
The non-carbon model will be soft underfoot, played 18 holes in the carbon model today and the underfoot cushioning is good!

Pro sl have always been a blend of classic and sporty trainer look there was other line ups in footjoy to cater for this look.
Definitely won't be buying a pair
