To celebrate my account (finally!) being fully verified and therefore being able to upload complete programmes as one rather than in 15 minute chunks, here's a complete programme!
As part of Channel 4's "Whose News" season, a team from "Deadline" go behind the scenes of Yorkshire Television's regional news programme "Calendar". This is the only episode I have of this series, the "Next Week" trailer at the end implies the whole series followed what the Calendar team did for a period.
Lindsay Rimer went missing on the evening of 7th November 1994 and her body wasn't discovered until 12th April 1995, so the events of this episode take place at some point between those dates, possibly closer to the first date due to the missing persons appeal that is seen being recorded towards the start of this programme. At the time of uploading, her murderer has still not been caught. There's more on the case here:

I remember this series airing first time around as a schoolboy and it probably cemented my passion for journalism. It's a shame there's only the one episode! I wonder if Channel 4 would ever make it available on All4??

I'm not usually one for suspecting the parents, but Gordon Rimer's body language in this seems really odd.

I was going to say the same thing. He has an odd demeanour in lots of the photos, such as when he was comforting his wife, he was smiling.
