Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture. With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

Catdog is hands down the coolest cat I've ever seen. I wish my cat was like him/her.
It's a she/her
CatDog needs one of those chicken heat lamps above an cozy cat Basket
Catdog takes her job seriously, laying down on the job is hard! Great video! Take care and God bless!
CatDog was very comfortable during her ride! Great vid!
😂 the cat was yay! Thanks for the ride. My cats ride on roof of my car as I’m backing out of the driveway 😂
8:14 cat: No. I don't want to get up!
You know why the truck didn't start Zach? Firstly shorts.....secondly, you needed to move it. Lol
Playing off ground tag as a kid and Colman’s son jumped on a leaning wheel and it came over on him, have then chained up now, nice looking corn for a dry year.
I've NEVER done anything dumb. LOL!
Kernel keepers, snoot boots and snout savers. Kind of sounds like they let Willy Wonka name them lol Hearing them said at one time just sounded funny
I thought a snoot boot was a shoes for his dogs.
@@gregorystell6858 get the puppers some snazy snoot boots for going up town
Awesome job on the tractor. Looks like new.
That was totally amazing that cat dog stayed on the pallet the whole time.
Fluid film works wonders on corn heads during storage. Will help with some of that surface rust.
most relaxed and trusting cat ever? I guess it senses the love and know nothing bad will happen, or just too lazy to care,
It is simple to check for parasitic draw on the batteries and to determine which fuses carry the parasitic current. It would be great to solve this long running mystery.
Hey, I hear there's a crew coming to reside the old shop. Maybe he can fix the siding on the new shed where Zach screwed up!
i always expect the polish of the truck to come out good, and it comes out way better!
I’m kinda surprised that Chevy even started at all
Thanks for sharing we all know you need all the help you can get to keep your snout out of the ground lol 😂
Time for a jump box, letsdig18 uses one all the time to start heavy equipment. At least then you get it to the shop and plug it in..
Nice dang square body. Back on the farm mid 80s, I was 12 years old in 1982, we bought a 1979 Chevy scottsdale and within about 6 months my dad put on an 8 inch lift kit with 38 inch groundhawgs. That was our farm truck back in the day. You have a pristine unmodified gold nugget in the sense of square bodies. Hang onto that thing.
The Millennial Farm: Where batteries go to die...over and over again.
Put a check valve on the main fuel line at the tank on the square body it will keep the fuel from draining back to the tank
Times where I like a tractor loader better than skid loader. Lite chain, hook in rim. Lower from ground as I guide tire. I like a board inside posts to lean duals against.
CATDOG Very cool name for a real catdog. And boy is she smart .... She realizes she is loved buy Zach so therefore any other animal or person will not get aggressive and let her do whatever she desires . STRONG !!!
I will tell you how to fix the square body. Put a check in the fuel line. Maybe a foot or so from the carburator. I've had two with same problem. One gas, one diesel. Fixed both.
I was yelling “STOP, you’re going to dent your wall tin”, but you didn’t listen.
I love you pups Anna reminds me so much of my Kiara who passed 2 years ago so seeing Anna makes me smile
the square body probably needs a carb rebuild or put a new 600 cfm edelbrock on it. The quadrajets have some plugs in the float bowl that can leak the fuel out as it sits...jb weld and a rebuild kit, and rebush the throttle shafts ...Cheers!
Fit a Facet style 12VDC in-line fuel pump.
Turn key on and press "primer" button activating electric pump.
Pump fills carb bowl.
Let go of button.
Turn key to start...
engine starts because fuel is already in bowl without needing excessive engine cranking until mechanical pump fills carb....
Thousands of viewers hold their breath every time you turn the key in the Semi tractors. 😮
Awesome Zack on Mini Mo and the The Puppys.. I've did Buffing !! Cat 🐕 Is a Cool Cat!! Love the hi fizz tips and the bottom holders, On the Header!
Catdog... if it fits, it ships. 😂
He needs to polish all the green equipment to red also.
That cat is awesome 😂
I agree with the do not attempt. The wheel could fall over on you and smash ya like a bug. For the dent, i was thinking that when the tire flipped to the wall it was going to go through it, lol so a dent is far less than i thought i was going to witness
I was watching that thinking a 2x6 installed horizontally between the columns with lag screws would have been an easy way to prevent that. Could have even secured the wheels to it for safekeeping.
That guy from Mae West looks like someone who can throw hands.
Need to have a segment called "Moving Equipment with the Minnesota Millennial Farmer!"
The Catdog Actor is the best addition to the cast 😅😅
A Holley Sniper EFI would be a sick upgrade for the square body
Kill switch right after the battery and 4 agm battery, you’ll never have a no start anymore
Zach, take one of your yankum ropes and go from the center of the rim and around the tire a few times and then use the fork blades to go through the yankum eye. Then just lift with the fork... (Just don't run the tip of the fork blade though the tin when placing the tire!)
Or a chain. People have been known to weld hooks on the bucket to facilitate this sort of thing so we can forget about the forks. That tire weighs a lot! Hate to have the actor that plays MF get badly hurt!
I honestly love finding you guys in my feed when I get up. Always fun content, great editing! My best to yous!
That’s one cool calm cat!
This is one of the best videos. Thanks
I think that cat makes your channel. You need to start merching for the kitty
great showing at Bristol hope we get to see some video of it from your perspective.
Another great one, Zack. Love your channel.Stay safe.
I had a cat like CatDog.
Cheech, wanted nothing to do with other cats.
Hung out with my nieghbors dog Barney, a huge yellow Lab.
Used him for a big pillow bed.
A bomb going off next to them wouldn't wake them up.
Cheech naturally no training did every trick a dog had to be trained to.
Anyhow, another nice day in the life of millinial farmer episode.
Cat dog trusts you a lot. Hope wrinkle in the wall of the shed is not bad.
Keep up the good work man love the vids
been following along for 3 years now from louisiana love the videos and content, appreciate all the hard work and how much the farm has progressed thru the years!! Keep it between the rows💪🏽
Beautiful buff job. As usual, awesome video. Thank you for sharing your life with us. J.Au-en
Zack, can you add a Facet style in-line fuel pump into your square body's fuel system to prime the carb?
If you rig it so the oil pressure switch turns off the electric pump when the engine reaches normal oil pressure (i.e. whenever the engine runs)....the priming becomes automatic at the turn of the key to "ignition on"?
Key on=electric pump fills carb bowl=engine starts=oil pressure turns off electric primer pump.
Little bit of a hint. When I take the duals off my 4830 I put them on a pallet - WITH the spacers laying in the rim dish. That way, when they end up in the way I can just pick 'em up with the pallet forks and move 'em.
Zack look for the LED Headlights that are heated. The Regular LED headlights do not melt snow or ice.
I've caught 40 winks on the back of a 5-ton, more times then i can count. Until, i learned to drive! LOL 😂❤😂
Cats aren't Devel DOGS SF!
Thank You ! 😊
Wow nice job on the first tire. Even the skid steer was clapping its forks
Zach and Becky great video thank you for sharing and your time can't wait for next video
Catdog was tired . All too funny. That cat has a great life
Top work as always!
Seen a guy back a forage Harvester in the shed and put the spout through the tin and unhook it.
Appreciate your contact. Thank you.
Forget the cosmetics on those trucks and put som decent batteries in em! Looks don’t haul the crops😂😂 Red paint don’t make it crank!!
Renew the battery/starter cables, clean up the grounds.
I just found your channel again so, congrats on 1 mill!
Another good one, Zach !!
That’s one chill cat!
Its always a disappointment to put the first dent in the new shed! keep up the great content
You don’t ask if they want lunch. You just get them lunch . Of course that man is hungry it is 2 pm.
Oh that was grim to watch. Such a nice shed and that tyre so heavy. It was too tempting for fate not to intervene in a bad way. Toast always falls butter side down.
Yeah I felt that dent just watching it. Painful. Ah well, least it's out of the way so that the next dent won't be as bad 🤣
@@timothywinters7304my thoughts exactly
Off to the Wood Shed (Again!)😂
Thanks for the videos!
Make sure that new roof is BLUE
In that I don't have such modern machinery, it's admirable
Nice new red truck you got there
Good show
Good job Zac
Have you put new and bigger groundcabels on the tractors and trucks and bigger positives cabels between starter and batterys.and bigger groundcabel from motor to frame. Thats often the cause when batteris fail and last so short.
The first scratch on something new is always the worst
thank you
How come Anna didn't bark at the moline starting ?
Nice that you introduced Nancy .
I loved the way CatDog came over with the dogs
Impressive display with the tires!! Been there
That cat really wanted to move to the shop. It's no dummy. Why walk when it can ride.
that sucks when somthing or anything dosent start any ways awsome videos keep up the work!
LoL, Becky not approving of the yank the 500lb tire by human and hope it don't fall over and crush said human, part. Should be enough steel around that farm to weld together your own tractor tire rack, I hated leaning them up against a wall. Great video, that cat is pretty awesome.
Harvest is just around the corner!!
Hey Zach put a Deadman switch on your truck and that should solve your battery issues.
Great video!
Aww cat dog sleeping like a baby he have a long day
😂 That is too funny with the cat on the pallet. It reminded me of the movie Meatballs. 😂😂
I’m ready for harvest videos!
Ahhhhhh
UHMW
The 3rd most slippery thing on the 3rd rock from the sun.
It is interesting how much Maywest can improve the original designs. Are they somehow getting information from the Deere, Case , etc to know which parts are good for improvement ?
You had me at dumb
Paint is looking good on the truck, Zach! And didn't your dad ever tell you that just because you have a friend coming over to help with the siding doesn't mean you can give him more work to do? 😉
CatDog was unbelievable, never seen a cat sleep that hard.
Every square body I ever owned turn the key on if it has electric choke pump 2 times and fires up in 3 seconds or less
Have you checked the cold cranking amps on your batteries it's a very important detail people miss if it's lower than it should be even a new battery will struggle to start cold engines.
We never do anything like that tire thing or sketchy stuff ever on our farm. 😉
It’s no humid it’s froggy…h😂😂😂😂aahaha
Get Zach to polish the green tractor & make it red as well😂
I didt not know that Farming was literally moving equipment around and the grow a crop in between
Cat dog musta been out hunting all night 😂
