Вставка
- Опубліковано 13 жов 2023
- There's a gap in the IEM market between $300 and $500 where there really aren't a lot of notable options. With the recent arrival of the Aful Performer 8 and, now, the Yanyin Canon II, this price point is heating up. But just how notable is the Canon II? And who might want this sound? Let's talk about it.

Happy Saturday Mark, thanks for the video.
Hope you have a good weekend.
Thanks for the review!
🤙
Nice review! Did you compare it wit sound rhymes sr5?
Just got this IEM and its amazing. The bass is amazing on every setting. I have yet to find something that it doesn't handle super well.
I personally love the look of it. It looks like the side of a cool looking fish.
Canon 2 looks like something that would pair well with the Moondrop S8 signature wise.
Looking forward to the upcoming 11.11 sales, I'm considering both as a "budget" endgame option.
I’m digging the circle portrait cam. Circles > squares.
⭕️
Officer my pinky nail is like this for dip switches, I swear!
😂
I just got yanyin canon 2 a couple days ago, been listening to music non-stop. and they are amazing for competitive fps gaming!
what eartips are you using and do they change the sound ?
The tips in this video are Softears Ultra Clears I believe. Tips can have some impact on sound, but it is particular to an individual's fit -- I don't think it is generalizable.
So is it a definitive upgrade on the Canon 1?
Now if something is higher than a very solid 4 stars. Does that mean you'll give it a Very Very solid 4 stars or is it like a very extra Solid 4 stars or are we jumping to 5 stars?
I genuinely don't understand rankings that use a scale of 1-5.
I quite like Marks rating system, 3 stars is basically a skip. 4 stars is considered as worth a price/Good/minor issue from tuning or technical performance. 5 stars for a absolute he’s preferred signature or something punch way above the price for products offering in the market right now.
@@gordon2875y'all are taking my goofy questions too seriously
I will never buy again iem without past 10khz air and strong clear bass.I eqed the dips of my 41t with the eq of UTWS5 and it became a tottaly different iem but still something is missing despite the fact that it is MUCH better now..Greetings Mark!
Love UTWS5
@@LorenzoFrausto it s good yes 👍
Fair warning that measurements on common 711 couplers are not super reliable past 8kHz. Though they are generally indicative.
@@SuperReview Didn t know that thanks Mark..
Which one has the smaller nozzle? Which one would you recommend for tiny ears, the canon or the p8?
p8 set is big.
Hey man are you gonna take a look at the sivga nightingale sometime in the future ?
Supposedly tuning isn't final so not gonna review yet, but... squig.link/?share=Super_22_Target,IEF_Comp_Target,Sivga_Nightingale
Interesting names
Would the canon II be a good first pair for someone who would like to get into IEMs?
If you don't mind rolling the dice on your audio preferences for $380, yeah, it's a good all-arounder.
Hmm, the graph seems similar to KE Orchestra Lite. A little warmer and darker, maybe.
A good bit of distance in price there but, curious how these two compare?
From memory, Orchestra Lite is closer to neutral, less warm, but I agree there are similarities there.
Hi how does this compare to the mangrid up I currently have the sa6 mk2
Xenns Up are a different price bracket and set up. Not really a comparison. Both Canon and UP have great Bass. Don't own the sa6 tho, but reviews are mixed and it seems over hyped.
This or the canon 1 have been on my list, but tbh I’ve got way too many iems. Gotta resist the nova lol.
Any idea of comparison with hype 2?
Canon is warmer / fuller, Hype 2 is a bit thinner, similarly dark, and wayyyy wider imaging.
Mark which one do you think canon 2 or hype 4

Hi Mark , I made a wish here, please review performer8 alone, if you can... 😣
ISN Neo 5 .... unbeatable at it's price point!
Hi would the better iem the cannon 2 vs the mangrid up
I don't think I've heard the Up.
I love my P8, favorite signature ever. It’s super warm but that warmness doesn’t come from the bass, and I’m at a loss to explain it. Musical or full of melody perhaps? Gives me tea 2 vibes but way more technical
lack of separation on p8 , mids are too thick. replace high quality cable will get better !
Canon or Hype2 or Hype4 i can’t decide…
imo canon win.
How do these compare with Kiwi ears quintet?
Quintet is brighter, more forward presentation, the Canon is more laid back.
@@SuperReview thanks for the response ✌️
❤❤
So you love hype 2 more than this? But does hype 2 have comparable resolution?
Mmm, Hype 2 imaging is a lot more impressive than Canon II's, but Canon is better with texture and detail. Both have their place.
@@SuperReviewthanks man. I got canon 2 for 260 on aliexpress with bunch of discount coupons 😂. Hopeful they arrive 🤞
Mostly didn't go with hype 2 because of more sub than upper bass as i already have timeless og & legato for sub bass & also hype 2 only comes with 3.5mm & my sources are balanced.
canon 2 is better imo.

Ooooo I only listen to rap so you saying the blessing 3 is gonna be a basshead pair you would say?
Check out the ISN Neo 5 for Rap. Bass is on point! And they are such a fun sound for hours and hours without fatigue.
review Truhthear NOVA
You.
@@SuperReview what ?
I'm here to tell you that shouting is not a fake thing, you should get some hiby ssssssseeds 2 and try those out
Sibilance is real. Shout is a social construct 😘
Shame that a $380 iem with switches doesn’t come with a tiny switch tool when a $22 iem like the KZ Castor with switches does. I’d bet that the Castor is a better listen as well if you like your bass.
I have the Castor and I would definitely prefer to listen to the Yanyin.
I just got this IEM and it does come with a switch tool. It is in the little envelope with the paper work.
@@SensitiveBoysDads🤯
It does come with switch tool, he missed it.
