Thank you so much for this listening practice! The past few days I’ve felt like I’ll never be able to fully understand Japanese, but this gave me a lot more confidence.
Nice video! I know it’s usually hard for Japanese to speak so slowly, but it really helps as listening practice for Japanese learners. Thanks for putting this up!
Last month I watched this video I couldn't understand anything, but now I can understand around 80% of this video. This feeling is incredible. Thank you for making these videos Shun. Keep going.
Thank you very much for this video series! I am a beginner and still don’t understand all the words but I got the main subjects and themes of the conversation. That’s very useful. 🙏
Hi Shun san. I am back in the USA. 😢 I wish you might do a follow up interview with this friend. He is lovely. Also please consider interviewing Seigo and Bren (they have their channel). They both have a lot of charm. You guys would have a lot to talk about (how Bren learned Japanese, their travels to Europe and the USA and Japan, etc. ). Anyway, just wanted to say hi and keep up the good work.
It amazes me that you (and your friends) know how to keep the conversation at an N5-N4 level :D You have a special skill! How do you get your friends not to say super complicated stuff?? xD
Just watched this video and I’m very appreciative of what you are doing! Thank you so much and I have subscribed and will continue to watch all of your future updates!
this was so helpful because i am teaching Japanese to myself so I don't get the chance to listen to conversations so thank you very much!!!! i don't feel as lost
Watching your videos at 1.75 speed has really helped me review everyday Japanese. The videos I watch may be at native speed, but they don't cover the fundamentals like your videos.
1.75 speed thanks to how clearly you speak too. ua-cam.com/video/NR88tIkPzjs/v-deo.html is an example video of what I usually watch. It has Japanese subtitles like your videos.
ありがとう!I was really excited when I saw you had put another video up. The sound level is great this time compared with the Yuri-san interview a few weeks ago :)
This is some brilliant dialogue!!! It’s definitely a bit harder for your usual content, but I learned so many things. Your friend is like what I aspire to be! 私もダラダラの生活をしたいと思います! 毎日16時間ぐらい働くのは大変ですね.もちろん、ストレスがたまらないようにのんびりしなきゃいけません!
Thank you for watching! I agree today was a bit harder than usual ones but good challenge right:P Ya, his life is so chilled! ダラダラする生活はいいですよね。 仕事が全部じゃないですからね。 ストレスがたまらないように生活したいですね!
16 hrs of work, wow! That was crazy and scary if you do that everyday, your life rotation is basically work and sleep.. Im planning to work in japan this year.. and i feel, chotto kowai desu😂😂 demo Kono douga ha totemo omoshiroi desu...

I hate to ask more of you but you might want to start using kanji in these videos! Things can actually get more confusing when I don’t have kanji to reference and the subtitles look like a blob
sei-san is right, enjoy your life! japanese people work too much, and dedicate their life to a company. I work for a company because I need the money, but I don’t live to work for a company
Thank you so much for this listening practice! The past few days I’ve felt like I’ll never be able to fully understand Japanese, but this gave me a lot more confidence.
Ohh so glad to hear!! you can keep listening and you will get more and more!
Love these videos - the vocab you use, the speed you speak at - great. Good bunch of friends too. Thank you for your channel.
Thank you so much for the comment!

Can I ask you one thing, Shun? Why do Japanese people use と思います so much at the end of a sentence, even if it's not "I think that..."?
Thanks.
I guess to soften the sentences some people use it and also depending on their style:)
