    You have more snow on the ground than I do in Canada 🤪. At least you had one day of sun. I want to test my panel again in the summer to hard to test at this time of year. Great job with the video.

      Thanks. Yeah we had a lot of snow. Had to actually shovel out a clear spot.

    hooked our new 200W panel up today in BRIGHT sun and light smoke haze that magnifies our other panels to over-produce annnnnd... 51W max in full summer sun. ugh

      I'll test this later, but I'm wondering if it's 25 ft cord I used ( standard echoflow to mc4 ).

      @@chefjonarthur7602 it’s possible it could be the cord or maybe the angle of the panel to the sun?

    I just ordered this set up today...for here in San Diego..hunting/camping/trips to Baja etc. How are you liking your system. I'd like to make a 25 ft extension cord...but have no idea the connections or what I need to do that as i'm a total newbie to solar.

    Thanks for the interesting video. Michigan looks like Nova Scotia these days. Not much sun either here. Wonder if solar charging panels will make any sense.

      Thanks. I think as long as you can save some money on your electric bill, solars worth it. You may not save as much in the winter, but you really see the savings in the summer.

    How are you handling the snow with the panels so low to the ground? Mine are alot higher in the air and I still have to move snow from below my panels. I live in northern Vermont.

    • @AdamDeLay07
      @AdamDeLay07  7 місяців тому

      A shovel...or a child...😁
      Snow is a blessing and a curse at the same time.
      It's a curse because I made the rack mounts so low to the ground, I have to clear them when I get all the snow off them. A few times I've actually pushed all the snow off the top instead of pulling it off the bottom, so that helps some.
      It can be a blessing because I get a lot more reflected light when there's snow on the ground.

      @@AdamDeLay07 my panels are about 2.5 feet above the ground and 4 panels high. A long handle push broom works good for me. Than I use my tractor to move the snow pile.

    • @AdamDeLay07
      @AdamDeLay07  7 місяців тому

      @@richardbizon8620 I could use the tractor but it would be tight moving it around the panels. I have the occasional time where I can just take a leaf-blower to the panels and clear all the snow off but most of the time I use a SnowBrum (amzn.to/42MMUey)
